A spotlessly clean, if rather dated aesthetically, hotel. Our accommodation was large with a double balcony, bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom spoilt only by the fact that access through the doors from the lounge area onto the balcony was not possible becuase of a fault in the door which, although reported on Day 1, was not rectified during our 7 day stay. We could access it though the bedroom so not a big issue.
The buffet breakfast catered for English and continental tastes with a good selection of fruit, grills, cheeses and meats, cereals and a wide selection of breads. Staff were friendly and efficient and the roof top pool area was again spacious and very clean. The bus stop served by the excellent TITSA services was within 100 yards and we could have eaten at a different restaurant each night within 400 yards of the hotel. Nightlife appeared non-existent, which suited us personally though doubtless would be a downer for a younger element.
“ Top Tip: Pedros, out of the door, turn right and then up and round the corner on the left, was a great traditional Canarian restaurant with excellent fish. The owner of the Mexican restaurant was very friendly and the food there was good too as was Incognito, a German establishment in nearby Play Arena

“ Rooms are large with self catering facilities and separate bedroom. Service is generally good. Food is on the positive side of average but some issues with the warmth of food and amounts available for guests eating later than first 'sittings'. Good location with Playa Arena 5 mins walk and Los Gigantes 20 mins walk. Nearby supermarket, restaurants & bars but very quiet at hotel site itself. Pool area unattractive and hotel, though fairly modern, is somewhat souless.
“ Top Tip: Beach at St. Juan is good when Playa Arena is crowded or sea access there closed. Masca gorge walk impressive though boat ferry back is expensive. Get a permit to climb to Teide crater. These are free and can be got on line prior to trip. I'd say don't go on expensive cable up Teide unless you have the top permit.
