“ We had an excellent time at this resort. The beach was disappointing - black sand and a bad undertow - but the pools were fine. One pool mostly for families and a quieter one, plus a waterslide. Great choice of food at the buffets and it was replenished promptly. There were always at least two choices of meat or fish on the grill. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful, and we never waited for service. Very impressed that when I pointed out a broken hand dryer it was replaced the next day. There were several people with mobility issues who said that they had no trouble getting about, so I would recommend it for anyone in a wheelchair - also means it's great for pushchairs. Families seemed to be having fun. There was no evidence of overdrinking or excessive party noise. We will definitely go back.

third time at this hotel, first since it was taken over. Still very good. Pleasant staff, rooms spacious and clean. pool area spacious and always plenty of sumbeds.
The choise of food may not be as wide as before but it is plentiful and fresh, we did not go hungry, there is something for everyone.
Would certainly go back.

The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The food is also varied and of good quality,indeed there is always something to eat to suit all palates. We had good weather with only 1 full day of cloud. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are all conscientious in their role.
We were allocated a family room which was lovely and spacious but it was cold as not situated in sunny location so we paid for an upgrade facing pool and also a lovely sea view.
There weren't many English people there lots of Dutch,German,Spanish, French and Polish ,and we met a lovely Dutch couple. Overall we had a lovely holiday
“ Top Tip: We found a lovely Tapas Bar in San Juan called Creative which is a short busride away and we bought Bono bus discount tickets available from local supermarket which we used to visit other places on the island

This comfortable luxury 17-storey hotel comprises a total of 298 rooms. It has a spacious lobby with a bar with a sitting area, a piano bar, reception area and 5 lifts. Also, there is a hairdressing and beauty salon, a boutique, TV room and lounge. Culinary options include the air-conditioned buffet restaurant and an e la carte restaurant. Further facilities include Internet access, as well as room service and laundry services, all for additional fees. This hotel is dedicated to organizing congresses, conventions and banquets. It has lounges with capacity for up to 900 people.
“ Due to the hotel being built into the side of a hill it can be confusing that reception is on floor 16 and the bedrooms are lower. This makes it necessary to use the lift and at peak times it can take a while. However this hotel gives good value for money, it is in a good position for the town and it's amenties and the buffet food is well cooked and plentiful.

“ As we visited in January the hotel was virtually made up of older people who preferred to get away from the British weather. The hotel was also 90% German/Dutch. The hotel rooms are good and very quiet. Food is very varied and there is always something different to choose from. Staff were very helpful.
