“ Hotel room is amazing. We were upgraded to superior suite and it was huge. Certainly big enough for our two children to run around in. Balcony was big and safe for children with great view of sea and pool. I think most rooms have sea view. The children club is great very clean and well equipped. My 4 yr old kept asking to go there. My toddler wasn't so keen but the girls were great with him. They both love the daily mini disco. Pool warm. Only critism is the food was only ok not great.

“ An absolutely excellent time had by myself, my wife and our young family at this 5 Star hotel during our stay from 27th Dec 2011 – 3rd Jan 2012. Staff are friendly, hotel is very clean and high quality food is served daily. New Years Eve Gala Buffett and fireworks were particular good! Hotel is remote, with little to do on the door step but hotel goes out its way to ensure they make up for this ‘single’ failing. This was our third stay and I know for sure we’ll be back again within the not too distant future....would recommend the Roca Nivaria to young and old without hesitation. Special recognition to the kids club team who made our ‘little peoples’ holiday so memorable!

Arrived at this hotel September 2011 with my husband, 7 year old daughter and 2 and a half year old son. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us.
Very friendly atmosphere. Once the children had eaten they had a play area to occupy them whilst my husband and I enjoyed quiet meal times. This was in the buffet restaurant which meant we could keep an eye on them. Pools were very clean and rooms were cleaned twice a day.
We had a Junior suite with a sea view this had two rooms one for the kids and one for us, shower and bath and also a balcony.
We all had a fab time would definetly go back again.

“ The hotel is far away from the beach, restaurants, but they provide a bus...the ride is 10 minutes until Puerto de la Cruz.On the other side of the road is a very big mall so that is a plus..The hotel is not suitable for children because they don't have a mini club and other activities for kids.

“ Pleasant hotel in a great location. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Worth paying for a seaview room. Hotel north facing and balconies dont get the sun. In December pool area loses the sun at lunchtime but pool is heated and good for a swim even if air temperature is a bit chilly. Food - good breakfasts, evening meal average. Staff friendly and helpful.

“ We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and found it very good value for money. It was spotlessly clean and the room sizes were the biggest we have ever stayed in over the past thirty years. The entertainment would not be for everyone but it was o.k. The staff were courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we were return to that area.

“ third time at this hotel, first since it was taken over. Still very good. Pleasant staff, rooms spacious and clean. pool area spacious and always plenty of sumbeds. The choise of food may not be as wide as before but it is plentiful and fresh, we did not go hungry, there is something for everyone. Would certainly go back.
