Built in 2001, the apartment hotel offers a total of 33 rooms spread over 3 floors, of which 30 are studios and 3 are apartments. Amongst the hotel facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, a hire safe, a lift and a TV room. Dining options include a cafe and a restaurant. In addition, guests arriving by car are able to use the garage (fees apply).This aparthotel is ideally situated in the beautiful Canary Island town of Puerto de la Cruz. The lively pedestrianised zone and the wonderful sandy beaches are within metres of the hotel. Numerous shopping facilities as well as restaurants and bars are also just a few paces from the hotel. The nearest public transport links with which guests may explore the whole island are just a stone's throw away.The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a telephone and TV. They also come with a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, a hire safe and a balcony.Guests can use the hotel's heated pool with sun loungers, and there is also a sun terrace with shower. Billiards is also available.The entrance is situated in the Apartments Bambi the next door complex.

“ The appartment was clean and tidy and the facilities were ok. However there was no kettle and when we asked for one they could not provide one only a coffee machine.
“ Top Tip: Some good restaurants within walking distance which provided a good variety of menus. There were a number of pools to swim in at the north end of the town. These clean and tidy and value for money.

“ Very disappointing. Nightmare trying to find a parking space and hotel car park was full. No balconies for you to sit out on. Very basic and no comfortable chairs, only upright hardback chairs. If you want to be in this area stay at the cheaper Bambi which has lovely balconies. On a plus side the reception staff were very helpful.

Just returned from holiday and need to thank travel republic. it was so easy to find place where to go, book it and buy it for a very very good price, was real bargain.
everything from a-z was brilliant didn't have any problems with any part of the journey (airport parking/flight/shuttle and hotel). really pleased
HOTEL. is 3 stars but very good, I have nothing bad to say about it. main thing for me was - CLEAN and TIDY. Rooms where cleaned every morning spot on.
no luxury if you like 5 star hotels but room was big, bathroom nice and clean felt like at home, beds big, nice sliding door wardrobe really good kitchinet and everything CLEAN.
Super good location. all the major attraction places within 5 min walk - centre/bars/restaurants/lagos Martianez/sea-beach/supermarket
I couldn't believe that we lived practically in the town centre for such a small price.
the only thing I couldn't understand why it is called Astoria when the main entrance and biggest part of the hotel is Bambi. but that doesn't change anything. Pool wasn't too bad, adequate size and quiet, no children !!!
not all receptionists spoke in English and overall impression that Spanish people don't like English at all.
So if you don't need 5 star hotel and don't want to spend lots of money only on the hotel (which I think is bit useless as you spend only night in the room, you are always on the go, somewhere) then go ahead and book this one and the location is brilliant.
the other good thing about self catering is that you can buy the food you like and try everything you want, huge choice is nearest supermarket, I couldn't stop eating fruits and Tomatoes. and you don't need to eat what hotel gives you - lots of nice bars/restaurants and you can try different dish each time.
“ Top Tip: very very nice, suspect family run, small cafe NEOPOLITANA, cocktails - super and 2 for 6euros. all the food is fantastic, reminded me my childhood and mum's made food.

Apartment room clean, spacious with basic but adequate cooking facilities. Good bathroom but extractor fan not working. Linen and towels changed regularly and room cleaned. View from room was of swimming pool but it was only occasionally used. Desk staff spoke excellent English and were pleasant and helpful. Hotel apartments quiet at night. Hotel is well located for Puerto's facilities.
However, we had considerable difficulty locating the apartments. They were said to be called Astoria Apartments and located in La Hoya street. In fact they are prominently named Bambi and the main entrance is in Enrique Talg. Free parking is possible in streets near hotel but spaces are rarely available. Ample free parking is available in the large car park near the port (Parque Maritimo).
