This resort comprises 3 hotels (Bonanza Palace, Canarife Palace and Interpalace), now integrated into the Hotasa Puerto Resort. The complex was renovated during 2006 and has marvellous views over the Orotava Valley, Mount Teide and the Atlantic Ocean. There are a total of 610 rooms spread over a maximum of 9 floors. Additionally the hotel offers extensive tropical gardens, entrance halls with 24hr reception and lifts in each hotel. Clients can enjoy the 3 restaurants, 7 bars, snack bar, BBQ (required advance booking), conference room, internet access (additional charge) and laundry service (extra charge).||

“ Was dissapointed as this is not 4star hotel as we expected. Food was good at restaurant but cold, during day there is only one tiny snack bar between 3 hotels the biggest dissapointment was having to pay for bottled water which we have never had to do at any all inclusive hotel. Rooms were clean but no air conditioning and the beds were really hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep.. Staff were very friendly, the resort itself was a lovely place, we had a nice quiet relaxing week which is what we wanted - but i would not choose this hotel again.

“ Stayed here for two weeks. Booked canarife palace paid over £200 more for this hotel than bonaza palace. When arrive at hotel was allocated a room at bonaza explained to hotel staff they said ther is no gaurantee you book hotasa resort and they allocate you on arrival. Be aware of this you are best just to book hotasa resort.They also advised me the room i booked does not exsist in canarife only bonaza.I paide £1797 for this you can book this for £1400 for same time in 2011.Hotel was very clean staff were very helpful and friendly. Food choice very good only complaint was hot food always cold had to reheat in microwave (which needs replaced )The grill choice was good and hot ! The entertainment team were excellent my two girls were kept amused for the two weeks bee club team wee second to none. Weather was very mixed we had 7 1/2 days of sun . very nice resort hotel was full of saga clients but didnt effect holiday despite other reviews.I will use this hotel again great holiday.

We thought our booking was for the Canarife Palace, as listed on this form, but on arrival were directed to the Interpalace opposite. The Interpalace is a large modern tourist hotel and on other side of road Bonanza Palace and Canarife Palace hotels are part of the same (Hotasa) group. Many of the rooms at Interpalace seem to be private studios or apartments.
Clients generally older age group, mostly German or Spanish. Bonanza Palace has a separate Saga clients lounge area in the lobby. There were some families with children but I think it could be a holiday from hell for teens. Location of hotels is the quiet La Paz area of Puerto de la Cruz - a long walk back up from the town and sea front.
We were on All Inclusive tariff - our first experience of this and generally positive as it included drinks, coffees etc so we could manage our budget easily. Lunch was served at the Bonanza Palace.
Negatives: we were out many lunchtimes and no swaps for picnic were allowed; breakfast food in the warmers could be luke-warm. Breakfast machine coffee and juices poor. Past reviews on websites indicated that meals could be taken in any of the 3 hotels but we were told that this had changed since last year and we could now only use the Interpalace for dinner. Pool bar snacks were poor (eg the sort of burger and hot dogs found in vans outside football grounds, kept warm for hours).
Positives: generally very clean, quiet and well run. Plenty of loungers around pool; pleasant, peaceful grounds at all 3 hotels. Staff mostly friendly. Good choice of food at dinner, including meats/fish grilled to order; salads; hot foods. Desserts disappointing - a lot of pink, brown or yellow gloop, but always plenty of fresh fruit (and fruit also available at poolside bars during day). Preferred the bar at Bonanza.
Would probably use this hotel again, but Bonanza or Canarife looked a better bet.
