Location
This hotel is located on a hill in the tourist area of Puerto de la Cruz, in northern Tenerife, just 300 m from the Playa Jardin beach, 500 m from ‘Loro Parque’ park and 1.5 km from the town centre and the ‘Lago Martiánez’ pools. There is a complimentary hotel bus service to the beach and the Martianez shopping complex ‘Las Pirámides’. Bars and restaurants are to be found close to the hotel. Puerto de la Cruz is around 32 km from the city of Santa Cruz, 25 km from the Los Rodeos Airport (TFN) and 100 km from the Reina Sofía Airport (TFS).

Once again we enjoyed our holiday the entire staff are very good kind and helpful to us .
We find the food good and varied. The rooms are kept clean.Although a bit tired it`a a lovely hotel.
Along with most of the world, cutbacks are telling at the "Diamante" especially the entertainment which apart from the wonderful musicians "Trio Atabara" and Francisco Chico is very poor indeed so much so on we found another hotel with varied and good entertainment and the place was packed which is a pity as the Diamante is missing a trick to make money.
A game of bingo for a full house and a bottle of Cava as a prize is hardly going to attract guests to stay in and spend money in the hotel.

“ Very bad choice if you a young couple that would like to enjoy some peaceful time.hotel is close to the beach but is on the hill, so if you older or pregnant you will think twice whether you want to go out anywhere. also staff and hotel is very much prepared for German and Spanish families.unfortuntly disappointed with holidays.

Restaurant dresscode is non-existant
Hotel rules state no mobile phones in restaurant but many walk up and down in restaurant talking loudly on mobiles.
This is a shame as we have been to the Diamante 12 times and obviously love the place but enforcing a couple of rules would make it a lot better.

“ The majority of the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and of a good size. The food was ok but was geared more towards German guests. All inclusive we felt was a necessity if you don't want to pay a lot for the food and drink. We worked out that we would have spent at least double if we hadn't taken this option. There was an occasional whiff of drains when you were near the pool, as mentioned in other reviews. The gym facility at the hotel was good and contained a good balance of machines, free weights and cardio. The free minibus can be used to take you into town. The shopping centre in town is ok, but nothing special. The entertainment is pretty poor, we spent more time cringing at the 'animation' show than enjoying it.
“ Top Tip: Make sure to make yourself known to the entertainment staff. They will assume you are German if you don't and any quizzes, bingo etc will not be in English unless you speak up.
