Laundry services (for an extra fee) complete the services on offer at this hotel.This centrally located beach hotel is situated directly beside the sea, just 150 metres from the nearest beach. The surrounding area is filled with bars, pubs and restaurants (100 m away). The nearest public transport links are within walking distance, located just 150 metres from the hotel and there is a good selection of shopping venues to be found just 1 km away.The comfortable rooms come fitted with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Wifi (with charge), a radio, a fridge, air conditioning (in summer), a furnished terrace and a hire safe as standard. The apartments for 2 to 4 persons have a combined living/ sleeping room with a sofa bed as well as a separate bedroom, and are equipped with: stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, washing machine and iron. The rooms adapted for disabled clients have baths with grab rails.Guests may make use of the hotel's heated pool with children's pool, an indoor pool (special opening times), snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. For an additional fee there is a sauna and a massage service and sports enthusiasts may take part in aerobics sessions, water aerobics, table tennis, squash, archery, billiards, play minigolf or pay a visit the gym (additional charges apply for certain activities). “ I had booked a no smoking room and half board. On arrival I was told I had an apartment and No Board. After much discussion I accepted the apartment and was allowed half board. The apartment stunk of cigarettes, especially the curtains which were eventually changed for clean ones, at our request. Toilet ran 24/7 in an island where water is very short.

“ Beautiful reception area. Rooms did the job - small balcony overlooking opposite flats not a long time of sun. Dining area large with a huge choice of food - dinner and breakfast (half board). Entertainment ok but not to our taste - 5 lanuage bingo!! .. but folk were there. Bar - good - not too pricey. Gym was well equiped - indoor pool very limited time access. If you had a hire car and wanted to park it at the hotel - 18Euros a day!! but there was parking on waste ground nearby. We had a great holiday.

“ Great hotel but the beds are way beyond their replacement date and were very uncomfortable. Great food in the restaurants.
“
Top Tip:
The bus station is two block away from the hotel where there is also a great supermarket for supplies like water etc.
On Saturdays there is a good flea market near to the hotel.
Do go into the centre of the town to find a good range of restaurants but beware some are more costly than they first seem.

This cozy hotel, recommended for adults only, was built in 2001. It consists of five 3-storey buildings with a total of 174 Junior Suites with lounge. Facilities include a 24-hour reception desk, lifts, hairdresser, newspaper stand, 2 bars and restaurants buffet and a la carte as well as a laundry service (for an extra charge). WIFI Internet access is available in the foyer, reception area and rooms (on demand). This complex is not fully All Inclusive, so some facilities and services are subject to an extra charge. The All Inclusive programme will be given to the guests on arrival. The stylish Junior Suites are equipped with living room, sofa bed, a bathroom with bath, hairdryer, separate bedroom, Wifi (with charge), fridge, air conditioning (limited hours), 2 satellite TVs (in the living room and bedroom), direct dial telephone and a furnished balcony or terrace. For an extra charge there is a minibar and safety deposit box.
“ Very bad choice if you a young couple that would like to enjoy some peaceful time.hotel is close to the beach but is on the hill, so if you older or pregnant you will think twice whether you want to go out anywhere.

Located in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of Tenerife, the H10 Tenerife Playa is set right in front of the well-known Lago Martiánez and just 50 metres away from the sea. The hotel has comprehensive facilities featuring swimming pools, solarium, an extensive gastronomic offer and meeting rooms for holding events. Furthermore, all the rooms and the El Drago Restaurant have recently been revamped.
“ The rooms were a little small and the bathroom tired. It was clean and the view over the Lago and on to the sea was pleasant. The Restaurant was lovely, clean and modern with a very good aspect and the Buffet style food was excellent, replaced regularly, freshly cooked items and plenty of choice.

“ I have to echo comments made by others about this hotel, it is very clean and housekeeping done daily. It's in a great location for all amenities and the staff are very helpful, most having a good understanding of English.

It is the perfect choice for those seeking a real taste of Tenerife, away from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts. The hotel is close to a number of blue, crystalline beaches next to Villa Mariana de la Candelaria (located at 5 km), which was the first sanctuary in honour of the virgin patron saint of the archipelago for whom the Villa has been named. “ This hotel is definitely not to 4 star standard. The food was appalling. I survived on bread cheese yoghurt and fruit for breakfast and dinner. It is a first for me to actually lose weight on holiday - but even the canary potatoes were inedible, being black when cut in to and having previously sprouted!.
