The food was poor, not up top 4 *.
No real coffee in bars or dining room, no fresh, prepared fruits at breakfast, mostly tinned or whole pieces of fruit.
Main courses were bland and unmarked as to what they were.
Much queueing for cooked breakfast, (no containers of pre cooked bacon eg)
Dark no atmosphere place for lunches.
Entertainment mostly unprofessional
“ Top Tip: Cafe de Paris, a few paces along the seafront had excellent coffee, cakes and lunches!

The rooms were a little small and the bathroom tired. It was clean and the view over the Lago and on to the sea was pleasant. The Restaurant was lovely, clean and modern with a very good aspect and the Buffet style food was excellent, replaced regularly, freshly cooked items and plenty of choice. Christmas Day Buffet was very good. The staff were generally good but some lacked enthusiasm foir the job-why do such a demanding public relation focussed job if you are grumpy?
The biggest problem we found was yet again the Pool area. There was a rule that you could not reserve beds with towels for longer than an hour without your stuff being removed. Fair enough but unfortunately, this only seemed to apply to certain guests. There is one nationality famous for their pool side habits and this was DEFINITELY the case here. We only reserved beds once and after 35 mins our stuff was removed by other guests and the staff did nothing and were quite rude when I complained. Surprise, surprise!

Oh dear! where do I start?
positives 1st, nice pool area, and the hotel is on the sea front,
I arrived at the hotel 3am in the morning, and i was woken at 8am with building / rd works. they add only given me a bedroom!! just outside all the rd works... the noise was awfull :(
2, I went all inclusive?? and I felt like a 2nd class hotel guest, as all the drinks where below parr, cheap cooking wine, watered down orange drinks.
and all inclusive drinks out of vending machines. not good for a 4star hotel?
3,maids, where noisy in the morning, banging doors/shouting in the corridor doors. not much respect for guests wanting a holiday lie in.
4, Bedroom walls where like card broad, you could hear the guests next door talking and their TV.
5, No gym
6, staff where moody, no smiling :(
I would rate this hotel more 3star....?
“ Top Tip: DON`T go all inclusive!! go halfbroad and you are best buying your drinks.

“ Great location, staff were for the most part very friendly and helpful. Travelling in November means that the hotel's main guests are older and so the entertainment reflects this, although they did make a big effort to entertain the small number of children resident at Halloween. Food was standard for the type of holiday, although the buffet was replenished constantly and had plenty of choice. The a la carte restaurant by the poolside was off the mark as it was strangely formal for such a location and the staff were not all that happy to have customers. Whilst many of the older guests were there to enjoy themselves, those of one particular nationality were really grumpy and not nice to fellow guests, but that isn't a reflection on the hotel, just a shame that some people don't stay at home in their misery.
“ Top Tip: Don't hire a car. There is no parking at the hotel and the cost of parking in the nearby car park is more than parking in the West End in London!
