Although we were an older couple 45 and 5i7 we thought the evening entertainment was for older people even than us
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding area
hotel was nice and quiet during the night and every area was very clean
we didnt know about pool on the roof until last day as we never passed anyone who looked as if they may have come from a poolside area
all in all we were very pleased with hotel and intend to book for later in year
the resort was also very good and plenty of restaurants and amenities in area
we hired a car and saw other resorts but preferred puerto cruz

Lovely spacious room with lots of storage. Big balcony with pleasant outlook. Small sink/cooker area with minimal equipment, but just enough for our needs. Good choice of food at breakfast. Very well located, a block away from the bus station, a few blocks from the beach. Not too noisy at night.
Two downsides: there was no internet access of any kind available, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable (lumpy due to the springs poking into us). This was a real pity because the hotel was very good value for money.

not really pleased with hotel, pool in real need of repair, VERY cold even with hot weather,paint peeling off bottom, didnt want to take my 9 month old daughter in. Food was dismal, not good for veggie choices, served fish, chicken, veal and pork every night, no variation, food greasy and sometimes cold. Tv had to be paid for in room, but does not state anywhere in advertising, aircon leaked, and temperature in resort was 30!
On plus side, staff were lovely, fussed over my daughter, helped with highchair and pushchair,cannot fault themm.
If you are looking for hotel in puerto that is in good central location and arent bothered about pool or going to go self catering is great, if want more from your hotel, would not recommend.
“ Top Tip: Restaraunte TROPICAL on Calle Lomo in Puerto, menu is only 7.90 euros, food fresh, cheapest we have every found on all our visits, the garlic prawns are wonderful!! Vey near to hotel, about ten minute walk, I promise youll love it,and be made to feel very welcome!

“ It's a nice, decent hotel, but don't expect fireworks. It's value for money, and you get precisely what you're paying for. Nice service and helpful reception. We didn't go for the food, but tried one night a buffet option - lovely and all you can eat. Internet cafe on site, very cheap. Good location, 3 minutes to the beach. All in all - I can recommend if going for budget holidays.
