“ I traveld here on my own as my friend let me down i was a bit scared at first but nothing to worry about as everyone was great, staff & guests. very safe place & I would recommend it to anyone & I would go there on my own again.I made a few friends which you wouldn't do if you went with someone.done a few trips which was great.
“ Top Tip: loved the black sandy beach as it looked like diamonds shinning from it when the sun was shinning.

All in all a very good hotel,food good and plentiful.
Night time bar area was limited and you felt as if you were in a village hall building.
Plastic containers for drinks needed to be bigger-at least half pint size.The ones provided were much too small.
TV coverage in room was poor for British customers- Sky News,BBC news and possibly BBC1 and ITV1 would be beneficial.
Would I go back- Yes.
“ Top Tip: A quick walk to Los Gigantes is a must. Plenty of good quality pubs/entertainment and a homely atmosphere.

A great place to stay, very relaxed and laid back. Beautiful gardens and pool area with wonderful clean pools! A bit chilly in January, but bearable (and extremely refreshing!), and the smaller pools are actually fairly big, and also heated. Clean rooms, cheerful and very helpful staff. Superb reception staff, very welcoming, friendly, efficient and go out of their way to help! Excellent food - a wide range at all meals; lots of fresh salads and fruit, and the most irresistable desserts - be prepared to put on weight!!! Hotel entertainment is generally 'family friendly' and quite bland, but the standard of live music in some local bars is second to none!
Just a few hundred metres to the small harbour beach; 10 minutes walk to a natural swimming pool, and about 20 minutes walk to the two main beaches, or a short, cheap taxi ride! All in all, a great place to wind down and recharge your batteries, a very 'easy'place to be; if you're into nightclubs, you should go somewhere else!
“ Top Tip: Don't make the mistake of rushing about - just enjoy the slower pace of life here!

Renovated in 2003, the hotel lies amidst gardens spanning 500 square meters and comprises 130 double rooms. The reception is available 24-hours and there are 2 lifts. A bar, TV room, restaurant and WiFi are to be found within the hotel. There is a self- service laundry on offer for guests.
“ Staff very helpful. Hotel very clean. Food adequate but boring. If you don't like being woken by crowing cockrels very early in the morning then take earplugs!

The Costa Mar apartments are situated in Los Cristianos, one of the most envied tourist hot spots in the south of the island. It conserves tranquillity, original character and that stands out from the others as it boasts some of the islands largest beaches. Here you will find a variety of restaurant bars and shops and all types of services that make your holiday complete. The complex has several facilities for your use, including a bar and a restaurant, pool bar, various entertainment karaoke and live shows in the nocturnal bar. There are 2 sea water swimming pools, one for children and one for adults. The Costa Mar studio apartments are all with private balconies or terraces, kitchenettes, private bathrooms/ showers, local and satellite TV and safety deposit box
“ Brilliant views over harbour sea and cristianos town,(7th floor) very basic room but enough space for 2 people, no oven or toaster, graham and carol who own bar downstairs are very nice and have all sports on, with bars across rd if you dont want to walk too far.

Plataneras Bungalows are located in the tourist area of Los Cristianos just 500 metres from the beach and approximately 700 metres from the town centre. The hotel has a total of 214 apartments which all have a fully equipped kitchenette. Guests can enjoy the buffet restaurant and three bars to enjoy a relaxing drink. There are a variety of leisure activities including mini golf and three swimming pools, one heated.

Renovated in 2005, this complex offers a total of 180 units. The facilities are a supermarket and 4 restaurants.
“ Island Village Apartments are everything you would expect for a holiday,the apartments have large clean airy rooms(with a cleaning service every day)with the balconys sited to get the maximum sun.The only downside is that the resort is on a steep hillside that may effect anyone with limited mobility.
