Selected rooms come with a balcony.During the summer, guests are offered use of the hotel swimming pool, poolside snack bar and sun terrace where sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use.If coming from Madrid, take the A-42, then take the exit 68A and follow the road to the Avila/Toledo roundabout. From here, follow signs in the direction of Toledo, and at the next roundabout follow signs to Carretera del Valle and the hotel (separate signage). If arriving from the N-403 from Avila, follow directions to the roundabout. From here, follow signs to Carretera del Valle and the hotel (separate signage). If arriving from the province of Ciudad Real, Andalusia, Aranjuez or Ocana, drive through the area of Santa Barbara, pass the station to your right and after the next roundabout follow signs to Carretera del Valle and the hotel.

Really nice views and romantic but if you are the average 30-40 year old couple interested in going out a bit, etc. it is in the middle of nowhere.
Expensive bar (nearly 9€ for a Gin Tonic). Average restaurant. It was stated that it was children free, nevertheless there was people visiting with children (not that we minded, though). When having dinner, there was only one waiter for seven tables, taking ages to get served.
The good thing is the swimming pool and the indoor free garage.
Dated rooms. We were supposed to have a double and we ended in a twin one, having to join the beds.
“ Top Tip: There is nothing nearby the hotel, apart from view places and fixed BBQs in allocated areas for this purpose.

“ Very pleasant, quiet hotel about half an hour walk from the city centre and about a 45 minute walk from the railway station. All spotlessly clean, friendly staff (but you'll need to brush up on your Spanish), decent swimming pool and a lovely outlook. Really enjoyed staying here and am going back again in August.
“ Top Tip: The walk to the railway station runs along the side of gorge, very pretty, good pavement and not too much traffic on it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room & food were excellent. Beautiful view of Toledo from the bar.
We were concerned, before we arrived, of the distance to the city, but it wasn't too bad at all. We could have got a taxi or a bus, but actually enjoyed the pleasant walk.
Will definitely return.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was buffet continental style and the evening meal was good and nicely presented. The room was basic, clean and comfortable with a good view over the historical town of Toledo.
“ Top Tip: We tried the Zoco Tren at a cost of 4euros50 which took us sightseeing around Toledo, and lasting about 45minutes. This was very informative and well worth it.
