Best Western Albufera Hotel

“ had a lovely stay at this hotel, it is located within a small retail park and has free parking either outside hotel or underneath. I did find it slightly confusing getting there by car but that was my fault and not the hotels.
Room was good, all amenities catered for , the bed could of been more comfy.
Free wi fi in hotel and the signal did reach my room ( 3rd ) floor, yu just have to ask reception for the daily code.
Will stay here again.

“ If you looking for the following from this hotel:
- Centrally located
- Close to beach
- Easy assess to transport

...then you will be very disappointed as we found out. You are effectively in the middle of nowhere! The beach is hours of commuting (or a very expensive taxi ride away). If you are like us and would prefer to not spent your travel money on taxis your only option from this hotel is a bus which arrives appx once per hour and will take you into the city. The last service with this bus back to the hotel leaves at about 8.30pm...Otherwise its taxis.

With the above in mind, your forced to make do somewhat with the facilities in your area and they are not too bad. The hotel is close to a big shopping centre with plenty of restaurants and places to eat - the downside to this is that you realise you could be effectively spending your holiday anywhere (shopping centres being somewhat alike worldwide).

In terms of the hotel, the staff were all very friendly, the breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfortable. We did not test the pool but it looked alright. Overall a nice hotel but a little to far from the action for our liking.

“ Top Tip: Some nice eating places nearby, most close at around 11-12pm, sangria goes well with most meals. If you do get to the beach, its nice. Be wary of taxi drivers, they tend to charge you whatever they please, its best to go by the metre.
