Olympia Hotel

“ The hotel was great - clean, rooms large, double bed, staff friendly, food good too
Really close to the Metro and so easy to get into the centre, the airport etc
Pool , spa nad sports centre attached
Would really recommend

“ Top Tip: Restaurant buffet was worth money!

“ Only stayed 1 night, but wished we had booked another. Lovely room, appalling view. Went to the restaurant in the hotel because we couldn't find anything in the vicinity of the hotel. So glad we did, because we were guests of the hotel for 10 Euros each we got to have the buffet. It was the most amazing food we have ever tasted. Fantastic fish, meat and pasta and loads more besides. The desserts were to die for, I was ecstatic. It was like eating in a michelin starred restaurant.

We had booked breakfast, out of all the hotels we stayed at, once again the Olympia Hotel did not disappoint. The choice was fantastic, you could choose anything you wanted, be it continental pastries, healthy options tons of fresh fruit, Kellog cereals or cooked breakfast. I have never seen such variety offered in a Hotel. 10/10 for the Olympia.

“ Top Tip: Please, please, please eat in the hotels restaurant. You will never find such value for money.

“ POSITIVE'S: 1. Plenty of Parking. 2. Very Clean. 3. Staff Generally friendly. 4. Generally quiet. 5. Close to Metro for easy & cheap access to Valencia. 6. The area is very Spainish, i.e. Not Tourist heavy but the local bars, people and shops appeared to be very friendly. 7. Free room safe.

NEGATIVE'S; 1). Breakfast & Evening meals in hotel restaurant, (buffet Libre), although choices were available, ALL the food that was supposed to be HOT, was found to be, ''Aired', not really even warm! 2). Although the Hotel was quiet, it was noisey early a.m. due to a school being opposite, i.e. Police blowing whistles for a school crossing, numerous cars arriving dropping children off. 3). Swimming Pool closed at 14.00 hrs on Sunday, the gym closed and so did the cafe/ bar. 4). The swimming Pool was used by a school club Monday between about 16.00 hrs to 19.30 hrs and therefore the area was packed with parents and children. 5). During a 4 day stay, on the Monday, (day 3), it appeared as though they had changed the electronic room entry and it required us to have the credit card style entry card re-set at reception, four floors below. Equally later this evening, the hot water was not hot, not even tepid and required contact with reception. Both of these events also occured to our relatives staying on the floor below, almost as though they had switched everyhting off, assuming the rooms would be empty after the weekend.

“ Top Tip: Very close to Metro for easy access to Valencia, cheap Metro travel to Valencian City centre. Clean. Generally a great location for easy access to the City. Equally about 3 K away is the Sea, beach, interesting marina. Also found a few bars in old Town Alboraya, mainly in a little square, found the locals to be friendly and a lot cheaper to drink and eat than Valencia.

“ Hotel was pleasant although we had booked a double and they could only provide a twin. not a great start at check in.
Breakfast was excellent and the coffee was lovely. Hotel bars very expensive

“ Top Tip: very near to the metro, if you are staying for a couple of days i would suggest that you purchase a two day zone A metro card. this allows you to travel on the metro/buses/trams at 8 euro's it is excellent value
