Husa Mas Camarena Hotel

“ The hotel was isolated near Valencia FC's training ground, where my son was playing in a tournament, so it was perfect for me. You do need a car to get around, but i found it most pleasant. Very few english speaking staff, except reception, who were very helpful. Small roof top pool, more for a dip after overdoing the sun, than a swim.

“ Top Tip: Heron City, 5mins by car, everything you need for adults, kids, plus Charter supermarket 5mins walk in opposite direction

“ I chose this hotel because it offered good facilities and being outside the city it had parking.
The facilities it offered were all at extra cost, parking / wi-fi / sauna / steam room.
Internet access was free if you had an ethernet cable but it seemed that you had to keep calling reception to be re-connected.
The pool was OK but small and the gym was a waste of space, the treadmill, bike and bench were cheap and nasty and the the treadmill apart from being tiny didn't work.
Oh and should you want to pay 10 euro's per person for the sauna or steam room you had to give between 30 mins and 1 hours notice for them to be switched on.
Being located on a business park parking was sometimes tight so 7.50 a day to park in the underground car-park was advisable (just remember to padlock your bay to stop someone else parking in it !!)

“ Top Tip: There is an emormous retail and leisure park a short drive away (Heron City) but it is too far to walk.

A taxi to/from the city was between 15-20 euros

If you have a laptop with an ethernet port take an ethernet cable or you will have to pay 9 euros / hour or 15 euros / day for wi-fi. The hotel does not loan or sell cables.

The restaurant was good, buffet style breakfast and lunch (didn't do dinner).

Would recommend 10 pin bowling and eating at Heron City if you don't want to go into Valencia for the evening.

“ The hotel was a bit too far out from the centre of Valencia although it was fine as a place to stay.
Unfortunately on a bank holiday the hotel did not have tickets to sell for the local bus, so we had to have a extra expense of a taxi. We also had to use a taxi to return to the hotel in the night, as local services finished early.
