Venecia Hotel

“ We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The staff were all wonderfully helpful and spoke good english, our room was cleaned and tidied everyday to a very high standard (even our clothes we folded and bags hung up!). We also had a lovely view out our balcony onto the plaza and the fountain in the center, we weren't expecting that so it was a nice bonus to say the least!! Another thing we were not expecting was how close we were to everything!! Everything was on our doorstep; pubs, restaurants, entertainment and shops! Was very good.
Breakfast was good, quite a nice selection of food (despite me having a wheat allergy!), there was a good selection of meats, yoghurts and fruit to pick from in the morning.

“ Top Tip: You need to visit the ice cream parlour on the Plaza de la Reina if you're staying in Valencia!! So many flavours (the cinnamon and kinder flavours were my favourite!!) and the staff were very friendly and helpful and even let us try before we buy!!
Also just off the Plaza (go right up to the cathrdral and turn left) there is a lovely restaurant called 'the Pappardella' which had lovely food, helpful waitresses who all spoke very good english. The restaurant also has a 'sin gluten' menu and gluten free pasta which was very lovely. For two of us to eat a main and a drink each it came to 22 euros! Well worth it. Gorgeous food!

“ The location of this hotel is superb, very easy to get to from airport on metro and right in the centre of everything.Breakfast very good, room was disappointing as no view so did not now what the weather was like until actually being outside hotel.I did request room with balcony overlooking square but could not be accommodated with this until 2nd night...as only 2 night stay didn't seem to be much point changing.Room was clean, bed comfortable and bathroom facilities ok. We got stuck in elevator which was a bit rickety and not a pleasant experience, it was only for 10 mins but I would avoid using at all costs.Staff reported to engineers but seemed quite indifferent and not very sympathetic..as if it happens all the time.Apart from that the location is excellent and I would stay there again.

“ Top Tip: Lots of good restaurants and bars just outside, easy to catch buses to beach, port and city of art and science.Buy Valencia travel card when you arrive which covers all public transport inc metro from airport.

“ Adequate and comfortable accommodation in the city centre for anyone on a tight budget. Good value for money!
