“ This is an absolute gem. Very good value for our family of four. Parking is tricky, but once you find out the under ground car park approx 100 meteres away along the embankment is (August 2011) 16 Euros for 24 hours. Could do with being advertised on web site. Right in the cente of the city - doesn't look much from the outside but very pleaseant and well equiped with free wifi. Was ideal for our one night stop over. Peter Buckley, Hebden Bridge, W. “ Hotel well located- central, on border old town and just a short walk across bridge opposite entrance to larger fashion shops. Hotel quite basic but adequate, reasonable breakfast. To rear of hotel lovely cathedral surrounded by artesan shops. Plenty of bars nearby. Did not come across any supermarkets/food shops in centre, apart from couple of fruit/veg, cake and specialist chocolate shops.
“ Top Tip: Local people dancing outside cathedral Saturday night 10p.m. very atmospheric! Tram stop outside hotel- couple of stops 1.35 euro single to Guggenheim, if you don't want to walk, but it is not too far away. Excellent restaurant- Amaya, turn left out of hotel and it is next door but one. Superb lunch 19 euros.

Clean and comfortable rooms, but ours lacking any view, as it backed onto the Library next door.
Breakfast was ok for 10 Euros, with a good choice of pastries and good quality coffee.
The area around the hotel is good to explore, with lots of interesting buildings and some friendly bars and restaurants.
Would definately return for a weekend break.
