“ Hotel and holiday would have been great if either a) we had stayed somewhere else or b) all of the building works were not on going for entire stay. First impression of the hotel wasnt good when the entire reception area was having a huge new car park built next to it and being told that the noise would stop at 5pm each day didnt really brighten my horizon. Further works were also ongoing around all of the shared areas near the beach so much so that it was a constant din whilst trying to either swim in the one pool that was available (the other pool was being refurbished) or relax on the loungers. Even on the beach you could here the noise. Apart from this though the hotel is very nice and the staff very attentive but unfortunately it will always be the noise and the site of all the building works that we will remember. We should really have been told before booking that this was going to happen as we would have booked a different hotel
“ Top Tip: For cheap good food try the honey cottages restaurant at the the far end of the beach
