The staff are excellent and do everything to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The restaurant staff excel. Remember this is in Tunisia so food will not be English, but the themed menus offer excellent variety unlike other AI resorts we have stayed. Fantastic pool, one of the best we have seen.
Special thanks to Adnen, Adel, Aymen and Bassem.

Top Tip:
Europeans are very wealthy compared to indigenous Tunisians. Don't get involved in haggling if you do not know what to pay !
The crocodile park !
Tunisians are very friendly and helpful you just need to show them respect and they will reciprocate every time.

“ Per me il Djerba Vincci Resort è uno degli Hotel con il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo e risente sicuramente del fatto che è una catena spagnola e non tunisina.Rispetto allo scorso anno trovo migliorato anche il cibo, sia in varietà che in qualità. Ottimo lo staff, dalla reception agli animatori (nei limiti dell'animazione tunisina che , durante la giornata è un po' "defilata")

“ The check-in at the hotel took 45 mins and when we were shown to our room - it hadn't been cleaned since previous occupiers! Reception was not staffed properly - too few staff to deal with people and their queries/problems. However, once it was all sorted - the room was great. Beach within 3 mins train shuttle provided by the hotel - small area on beach but fine for off season October. The hotel pool and gardens were great as was the food in the main restaurant. Hotel staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. All inclusive was a great way to be there and we'd go back again, if the reception desk was sorted out!

Top Tip:
Don't pay for airport/hotel transfer on any websites before going to Djerba. Good, clean local taxis cost 11 dinnars (GBP £6 approx) for 20km trip (agree your price before getting into taxi) - Travel Republic wanted to charge us £82 return when I checked on line prior to holiday - totally overpriced!
We used the same taxi driver to take us around the island for 4 hours - 50 dinnars (GBP 25 approx).....local taxi drivers are safe and only too willing to help with any transport needs.

“ There's a strange smell in the rooms, No internet even though they claim they have WIFI when I got there at 9pm they said whoever gives out the wifi pin codes is not around so I had to go out to town about 15 min drive to find an internet cafe as i needed it urgently.
