“ Reception areas of hotel very smart and clean. Our room was somewhat 'tired' but a good size and had a fantastic pool and beach view - the maid service was very good. Found all staff very helpful and friendly, there was one mistake with prices charged at the bar but this was rectified immediately we reported it, and I really feel that the error was genuine. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to have a quiet holiday with nice surroundings and fab food (especially breakfast.) There were a few outside steps which could be a concern for anyone with a mobility problem. Tunisian people work very hard to give you a nice holiday, they make guests feel very welcome and enjoy a chat but are never intrusive. We will certainly return to that area, and although we couldn't fault the Sol Azur at all, we would probably choose to stay at the Bel Azur (next door) which at present is undergoing a refurb. Both hotels are very similiar, we just feel that the Bel Azur is our favourite!

“ The hotel was lovely and the food was amazing. You have the use of two other hotels next door which adds to the variety. The only issue we had is that there was no entertainment in the evenings what so ever. They advertised nightly entertainment in all three hotels, but nothing ever came on, the night club was shut every night and the atmosphere was so quiet it made for alot of early nights! However after speaking with other people who visit Tunisia regularly, usually there is entertainment, so it could have been due to the revolution and being a quiet season that this was not provided for guests. But the hotel should be honest about this and inform guests rather than mislead them into hanging around waiting for entertainment taht they know is not coming.
“ Top Tip: The Roman hotel round the corner does all the tours for 10 dinar cheaper. Theres a super market near hammamet medina that sells alcohol, to keep your hotel room stocked up when theres no entertainment on.

black and white restaurant was near. very nice meal there and good price.
but you have to try places so many there.
even some with good old english tea.
