Food was great, always hot and fresh and as a very fussy vegetarian I always had a wide selection to choose from. Not a chip or chicken nugget in sight for the main meals which was great, however you could get chips, burger or pizza at the poolside bar. Staff very polite and service was great. Pools and hotel all very clean, the only negative I could find was the beds are very hard, but to another person that might be heaven. We have stayed in many hotels and this is the first one that I can not find any fault with. The resort does not have much in the way of entertainment or restaurants, we found it was very much a hotel based holiday.

Top Tip: Be prepared to barter for goods in shops.

A very clean hotel, fantastic range of food, free evening entertainment, a great number of amnesties, eg swimming, kids club, park etc. staff very helpful, room service a bit slow, overall excellent place to stay for families in particular.

Top Tip: A number of places to visit walking distance from hotel. We went to the near medina, which is the shopping mall, a number of places to eat, private beach opposite, horse n carriage rides and the Carthage land theme park 5min walk away, great for kids.

the staff are so painfully rude and arrogant, nothing outside the hotel and dirty hotel rooms we would highly suggest another hotel for a holiday

Me and my kids really loved this hotel, it was my kids first holiday ever and they didn't want to come back i was in two minds at first as i was getting mixed reviews about the hotel, the rooms are clean, staff are helpful and the animation team are just the best. I think i made the best choice and will consider the same hotel if i ever go there again.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week all inclusive stay at this hotel.
The reviews were mixed so we weren't sure what to expect. The hotel is large the rooms were spacious and very clean, we had a sea view from our balcony. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The all inclusive buffet was very good, loads of choice and plenty of hot fresh food. Drinks were good and unlike other places we have been were always served professionally with good measures and in glasses. We were there for 2 weeks and often by the end of 2 weeks you can get a bit fed up up with the food but the hotel also offers their theme nights where you can book a separate restaurant for a Turkish, Italian or Tunisian night giving you the opportunity to have a break from the buffet. They also have a 24 hour fast food restaurant where you can get burgers, hot dogs pizzas, pastas, sandwiches etc. So you are well catered for at all times and for the price we paid I would say that it was excellent value. The hotel is attatched to the 5* El Mouradi Hammamet a beautiful hotel where you are able to enjoy their bar and entertainment facilites. Although the El Mouradi El Menzah is an older hotel it is well maintained. They have a lovely pool and also an indoor pool for those chillier days.
The beach is just in front of the hotel and we spent many relaxing days on the beach. There are the usual guys going up and down the beach selling their wares but unlike other places I have visited they didn't hastle us and were always polite. The animation team are very friendly and work tirelessly from morning till night. The waiters in the El Mouradi Hammamet bar are extremely proffesional.
The area is peaceful, safe and clean. Had a great holiday and will be returning with the rest of family.

Top Tip: We booked the 2 day Sahara Trip. The first day we spent a lot of time travelling in the coach and stopped at El Jem to visit the Roman Colusseum and then at Matmata to visit the caves. Stayed overnight at the El Mouradi Hotel in Douz on the edge of the Sahara ( best night sleep I've had in ages) Early start at 4am the next day but had a great day watched the sun rise over the salt lakes, changed transport for 4 wheel drive vehicles and went up into the Atlas mountains near the Aljerian border. Stopped off at Kairawan on the way back. All accomodation and food is included in the price but if you book this excursion make sure you take plenty of snacks and a few drinks with you as time between breakfast and lunch can stretch a bit due to the early starts. Saw a lot of Tunisia in 2 days. Would have liked to have an itinerary so that we knew exactly what we were doing and what time we were expected to arrive where etc. but that's just me.
