Although we had understood it was a 5*, it was in reality not more than a 3*. The rooms were good sized and clean, but carpets were worn, some lamps were missing bulbs, there was no room service, tea/coffee making facilities, and the advertised room safe was an invisible one. There was a limited amount of toiletries provided in the bathroom. Some staff were very helpful, others clearly had better things to do than assist guests. The food was very good, but not always very hot, the entertainment was amateurish but enthusiastic. If I had booked a 3* hotel I would have been very happy with what we got, but for a 5* it was very disappointing.

Top Tip: The View (an English coffee shop) on the next corner heading south sells wonderful English tea!

Very Good

Check-in date:

My friend and I stayed here for a week, arriving back on 3rd December. The hotel is spacious, light and airy and the service on the whole is good with friendly staff who try hard to please - for example when we complained about noisy neighbours we were offered a change of rooms. The weather during our stay was very changeable and the hotel is not very well equipped to deal with chilly days so warm clothes were required. The lovely big outdoor pool was too cold for all but the very brave so the heated indoor pool was appreciated - almost like stepping into a warm bath. The hotel is rated 5-star and although facilities are generally good the restaurant is not exactly gourmet-quality; there is certainly recycling between lunch and dinner but having said that, we always found something to eat even if dishes were sometimes repetative and all vegetables appeared to have been fried in butter. We went for the all inclusive deal, which is definitely value for money. The only non-inclusive part I tried was a spa treatment which was, unfortunately a great disappointment - quite expensive, shorter than the advertised time and with a very strange, non-English speaking male masseuse (ladies should probably request a female - this guy stood and watched me get undressed!). However, restaurant and entertainment staff were lovely although the level of attention my friend and I received was probably due to the low number of guests at this time of year. Don't expect to party much in winter but if you want an inexpensive break and a few laughs, the weather is still a lot better than Britain's and I'd probably go back to El Mouradi though maybe a little earlier in the year.

Good hotel for out of high season visit (october) responce to requests not very fast ,broken safe, broken tele, third bed for child. Asked once never got any and didnt bother to chase since dont go on holiday to watch tv and third bed not really required ,safe was never used no issues with safety of goods in room.Food good but you must like breakfast-cereal, pancakes, boiled eggs, yogurt, runny scrambled egg, frankfurters / lunch-rice,paste,omellettes,fish,various meat dishes / dinner-spaggetti bol, pizza, fish dishes, meat dishes, mixed veg .
Their is a grill bar running from 2 till 6 8 till 2am were you can get chicken/tuna rolls which are both supereb pizza/chips/burgers all good and their is a super coffee maker in their.Rooms of a good standard cleaned daily with a free bottle of water and pop left outside your door and furhter free water can be obtained from the main desk at any time.

Top Tip: Theirs not a lot around Yasmine Hammemmet its now a little worn and a lot of places are closed down or neglected since the 2009 disposal of their presidant.
To sum place up Blackpool with out the lights or arcades.
