I DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AS IT CLOSED JUST BEFORE I TRAVELLED.

Hotel Yasmine Beach is very nice, staff very friendly. Hotel is next to the beach, very good location, close to restaurants, bars and shops. Nice animation every day next to pool and every night.
There are two swimming pools outside and one indoor.

Top Tip: Next to the hotel are few beach restaurants and bars. Five minutes walk away there is fun fair.

my husband and i returned last week now what anyone reading this must understand is that we dont usually write bad reviews as when i read them i think more people moan than praise but this hotel has prompted me i would not like to think of anyone elses holiday being spoilt There is something wrong at this hotel
1 they only had about 30 beach towels for whole hotel when i asked why i was told that the high management took most of them away
2 it took us 3 nights at dinner before a waiter served us at evening meal so we went without even water and then i had to go up to them to get it
3 breakfast is designed for european residents not british but i did have pancakes every day and he had boiled egg so we did not starve
4 all inclusive drinks this is a real joke
first drink alcoholic cocktail(as you do when on holiday )orange squash red stuff and a clear spirit not very good but this is the only cocktail
if you get served by wrong barman you dont even get clear stuff
asked for vodka what i got was not vodka
asked for gin dont do gin
the beer gets yucky after a while
asked for water one day was told all inclusive only get glasses eveyone else gets bottles did not understand this
5 food where do i start we were there at the end of the season we know this but what a difference first week to second week
first week i could have become a vegetarian as the choice was amazing but he was struggling to find meat dishes and we will try anything
second week what a change it went downhill fast we struggled to find anything to eat
6 the pool bar you can get pizza pasta chicken, burgers (tunisian)and a range of salad and fruit this was more appetizing than the restaurant at dinner time
7 tunisian desserts are lovely
8 the outside staff are more friendly
9 animation team are really hard working and friendly
10 maids cleaned rooms every day towels and sheets changed every day
we went to tunisia last year and i think the people are so friendly they cannot do enough for you when we ate out it was amazing service wherever we went made to feel at home
a lot of the staff in this restaurant need to take a look at themselves but is it there fault or management we did not feel welcome
we always make the most of our holiday but the 2 couples that travelled back on same plane were only there for a week they really had a bad time a least we had a few good days
i ended up buying my own orange juice milk and water

Top Tip: steak house by the medina fantastic food day and night

The hotel was basic but very clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was absolutely awful and alot of it was inedible. We have 2 small children who wouldn't eat anything after the 1st 2 days (they are not fussy eaters). We were eating the bare minimum which was often chips (they were inedible some days) and bread which was often stale. We were all ill for the last week we were there. Even staff there told us they didn't like the food. We are easy going and don't mind foreign food but if it was meat on the bone it was all bone and fat. The burgers were minced with the bone in them so you were crunching bone. The food wasn't labelled so you had no idea what some of it was. Mealtimes became a nightmare. The saving grace of this hotel was the animation team, Titi, ZiZo, Sami & Sousou. They worked really hard and kept us and the children entertained with their antics. The children adored them and it seemed to be mutual so a massive thank you to them all.

Hotel is looking a little tired and jaded. Staff (majority very friendly). Our arrival date was late August, the hotel holds 700 but there were only 100 guests present. Plenty of space around both pools and sundbeds easy to get! Food was very poor (I dont expect wonderful food when all inclusive but this was the poorest i have seen). Towels were provided at the poolside, both pools nice and clean, animation staff always busy and polite. Cleanliness of rooms could have been better, but satisfactory would be mark on this. Hotel is quite central and beach is just across the road (50 metres at most). Beach bar serving cold drinks all day.

Top Tip: The "View" english bar and restaurant showed football and sports all day and serves pleasant english food if ya feel the need! Located 100 metres to the right along the seafront from the hotel!
