Good hotel but needs a little TLC - I understand it will be closing later this year for refurbishment - once done it will be really good. Only problem , although on beach this was very dirty - camels up and down and not a nice place to sit - further along the beach was much nicer and cleaner but obviously the better the beach the more expensive the hotels. If they could tidy up the beach it would be really nice.
Our room was good - we had two bathrooms but had problems with the cleaners only leaving one towel for three of us, it was no problem getting more but we had to keep asking. Little things like only soap in the main bathroom and nothing in the 'shower' room.
Mostly russian and french in hotel so smoking was everywhere, even in the lounge area so didnt stay for evening entertainment as too smoky.

“ I spent 4 days here in March 2012. Staff were efficient and helpful and respected the guests' privacy. The food was lovely. Good selection of hot food (meats and fish) and salads. Extensive breakfast menu to set you up for the day! Lunch/snack bar menu was a little limited but very tasty and excellent service. Housekeeping was very friendly and paid attention to every detail. Made for a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday despite the cold and rain!

“ This hotel was rated a 5 Star. The entrance is very large and impressive but after that it goes down hill. The room wasn't very clean, it needed maintenance the door in the bathroom had rotted around the hinge for instance and the toilet brush should have been thrown out months ago. When we mentioned this to the rep he smiled and said yes but the 5 star is really a Tunisian 5 star which isn't the same as other places. Whatever that's supposed to mean I am not sure but if we had booked 3+ I would have been happy. We visited off season with breakfast only. The food in the restaurant was very poor and others we spoke to on an all inclusive deal tended to eat elsewhere. To finish on a positive note the beach was lovely. No complaints at all very sandy and huge. I can't believe that even in the middle of the summer lots of space couldn't be found.
