“ Very clean and comfortable hotel. Great place for a get away from it all style vacation. Usual animation team events and some entertainment at night. I was there to relax and it suited me fine. Excellent value - I spent about a thousand pounds for four weeks, AI including flight and transfers.

“ We stay here for the 6 winter months every year - very quiet and peaceful, but must point out that there is absolutely nothing to do there in the winter - definately not a touristy place, but very traditional.

“ Had a fab time at the hotel, it's very nice and the staff are very friendly, the food was good for a AI and the rooms are very big but could do with a bit of updating. Plenty to do for kids, pools are fab and the beach is great. All in all a really good holiday

Located on the beach, 5 km north of Mahdia, in the touristic zone This hotel is suitable for families, located on the beach and at a distance of approximately 5 km from the city of Mahdia. Mahdia is an old fishing town and has several points of interest, like The Black Passage, The Great Mosque, the Archaeological Museum and the Fatimid Port. A bit east from Mahdia is the Cape of Africa. The 3 star hotel Club Thapsus offers Bar, restaurant, a nightclub, parking and swimming pools. There are also tennis courts on site. The guest rooms are equipped with TV, balcony, air conditioning, telephone, bathroom and minibar (extra charge).

Renovated in 2008, this beach resort hotel complex comprises a total of 291 rooms and has a pleasant family atmosphere with a wide range of activities on offer and entertainment facilities. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area, a hotel safe, lifts, bars, a restaurant with a non-smoking area and an Arabic café. It also offers a newspaper stand, a satellite TV lounge, a mini supermarket, a hairdressing salon and a boutique. Guests can take advantage of the room and laundry services for an additional fee and the younger guests can enjoy the children's playground and the kids' club (for ages 4 to 12). All rooms are decorated in traditional style and include double rooms, double rooms for single occupation and family rooms. “ Stayed at this hotel several times. On my first visits it was not completed but offered a good service, it is now completed and although this was off season it is fully operational with more things open as the seaon progresses.

“ Attractive hotel, staff in all areas friendly, helpful and pleasant. I am vegetarian and found food to be very good. My room was very nice and splotlessly clean as is hotel. No hairdryer in room but deposit of 10TD will get you one but may have to wait until one is available.
