The hotel offers a pleasant stay in a bungalow with a terrace. The 272 individual bungalows in a Moorish style are situated around the park. A large variety of activities for children are available, including a kids' club, Baboo Village, which is open 6 days a week and caters for children of different age groups. Games areas, workshops and a small swimming pool are exclusively reserved during the summer for children visiting Baboo Village. Children are supervised during mealtimes and also receive an afternoon snack. Further facilities in the hotel include a lobby, a safe, a currency exchange counter, a cafe, a hairdresser, a bar, a restaurant, a nightclub, a TV lounge and a games room. For an additional fee, guests may also take advantage of the laundry services and the parking facilities.Wide avenues, perfectly kept lawns and a long beach of fine sand are the setting for this modern beach hotel. Only a few steps away from the beach, the hotel is situated in a huge garden with a mix of oleander, eucalyptus and palm trees. The hotel is just 10 km from the Monastir.All rooms have a ceiling fan and a private terrace. Cots (for children up to 2 years) and children's beds (up to 12 years) are available in the rooms. All rooms have a bathroom/shower.In the outdoor complex there is a swimming pool with sun loungers. Guests can try their hand at water aerobics or relax with a massage (for an additional fee). Fitness enthusiasts may take advantage of the table tennis, volley and basketball and minigolf. Aerobics and fitness courses are also on offer. For an additional fee, guests can make use of the sport activities offered locally, including water sports, water skiing, banana booting, catamaran sailing and parascending. There are also 2 golf courses nearby.Local drinks (wine and beer) and non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary in the restaurant during mealtimes. At certain times all drinks at the bar are complimentary, including local alcoholic drinks (imported alcoholic drinks are not included).

Food was the same everyday, rooms were very basic and cleanliness was obviously not a priority. All activities and entertainment at the hotel were in French as this is a resort aimed predominantly at the french. Local spirits and wine are borderline undrinkable and staff spoke very little English.
Travel rep was OK, the tour guide on the 2 day sahara trip was appalling, incredibly rude with unitelligable english, averaging 20-30 umms or errs in a minute (a game designed to while away the time whilst he was gibbering at us on the coach trip) The guide managed to upset and/or shout at most of the people on the trip during the 48 hours we were with him. Overall not good, I think the terrible comment above is a touch harsh, but the accomodation and food were not good enough to warrant a vote of OK. I would not go back.
“ Top Tip: Stay at a different hotel! Sousse medina is far cheaper than the one in Monastir. Whatever happens don't do the boat trip, inedible food, and swimming in a harbour where the water is full of pollution and rubbish. Trip to the sahara is worth doing, but be aware its a flying visit with hours spent cramped on a coach. 700 miles in 2 days!

Although the building and therefore the rooms, were only 3 star, the whole atmosphere, food, service and location were 5 star.
The rooms were at ground level so one could open the doors onto the lovely gardens. Tthe showers in the rooms were basic but they worked well and there was always hot water. The hotel pool was big and clean with lots of areas to sit under shadeand the beach was immediately in front of the pool.
The hotel was very casual and one could choose to dress very casually or dress up. The staff were very efficient, always clearing glasses and cups from around the pool area and were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and for the amount they charged I can't believe how big a choice we had.
I am not usually interested in a holiday with entertainment but this time I went to one of the shows in the evening and have not laughed so much for a long time. They were excellent.
If you are looking for a very relaxing, informal atmosphere with value for money then I can highly recommend this hotel. I would go back again and again!!!!!

Top Tip:
The bus to Sousse is very easy and only 3 dinar but from Souse to Monastir it is cheaper and easier to take the train at 1 dinar then either taxi or bus back to the hotel as the train station is a little walk fromt he hotel.
