Vime Lido Hotel

“ The hotel is under new management and is being renovated, unfortunately they probably should not have re opened this summer. They are doing their best but rooms were not complete (no fridges) and the food was definately not 4 star which as Vime Lido it is advertised as being, however I would expect by next summer things will be totally different. The beach is wonderful and the pool area is very good, the staff are friendly and work hard to keep the clients happy.

“ Top Tip: We often eat at a restaurant called Slovenia on the route to Hammamet, it is very good the food excellent.

“ Our stay in the hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the food every day was very varied and interesting. There was a seperate club for the entertainment and this was really good fun. Though as this hotel is not really advertised in the UK me and my fiance were the only English people there, for us this was not a problem, but if you want to meet other English people it's not the place for you. All the same in October, the pool and beach are lovely and quite for relaxing and the weather was stil tremedously hot....

“ Top Tip: We walked into Nabeul for a look round the shops and then got a bus for only 800 m (this is about 40pence) to Hammamet. Once in Hammamet you must visit the Medina for a bit of haggling and bartering.
