“ This was my second visit to this hotel this year. I was disappointed with this hotel this time because the food was hardly edible, there was no animation again, even though it is advertised. In May I was told the season had not started and now I was told the season has finished. There was a man playing the piano in the bar a couple of nights but he stopped every 15 mins to have a 15 miniute break and have a beer. There was no lighting in the corridors, it was pitch black, and only one lift worked which was on the other side of the hotel so had a long walk everytime I needed to go to my room. The grounds are maintained well, so well that while I was sitting there a man came and started chopping the palm trees with a great big chopper and there was all sorts falling on me...I had to get up and dust myself down. There was only a hand full of guests and very very quiet in this hotel, to the point where I started to feel lonely .....
“ Top Tip: The hotel leads out onto the marina, where there is a wide range of restaurants, also daily boat trips and the usual tourist shops. If you turn right as you leave the gardens onto the marina, there is a little place that serves beer and soft drinks at only 2 dinars while you can sit and watch the boats go by.

hello there,
the Hannibal Palace Hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, however, there was no heating and as there were only a few guests(less than 20) the food was repetitious and choice was limited. Entertainment was also limited to a piano player 2nights per week.

“ Staff great, hotel very clean, food out of this world I think that is were it came from, having to ask for spoons, small plates,cups,you name it you had to ask for it I think it may need a better management team, no one seams to be in control of anything, shame as the hotel was spotless
“ Top Tip: walk as if you are going to the pool but go to the left this will take you down to the marina have a coffe or a cocktail

“ Just returned from two wonderful weeks in the Hannibal Palace. Have been visiting the Port for 11 years and this was my first stay here. I loved the hotel location and the view from my hotel room was spectacular overlooking the pools, Beach and the Marina. The staff were really very friendly as were the Animation Team and the Pool waiters. My only complaint was the food. It was not very varied and was not of the best quality in the Atlas Restaurant. I did however enjoy food from the Grill and Beach restaurant. Overall a briliant hotel which could be improved by re-thinking the menu.
“ Top Tip: Love the Brassserie, it has a fantastic location right next to the Fountain. The Irish Bar is a must (opposite the Marharba Palace) lots of atmosphere. The Restaurant Familia just at the back of the hotel was very cheap and the Cous Cous was wonderful. All in all Port El Kantaoui is a very special place to me.
