Situated a way outside PEK - not much around when weather bad, except a bit of limited shopping; I'm not a shopper.
A comprehensive welcome on arrival - pool towel card and safe key issued free of charge.
Room given was a double even though paid for single - clean and spacious with a separate toilet. There was a limited view of gardens, the sea and half finished buildings.
Food - good choice and standard (if you LOVE junk food then do NOT stay here). I like my veggies 'under-done' but they were catering for the old folk and their false teeth so too overcooked for me. Sometimes things a little salty - taste before you season. You did come out of the dining area smelling of fat as there was deep fat frying and no extraction.
Drinks - totally acceptable choice and quality for local brands.
I have been to Tunisia before and been hassled by the male staff. I thought by going to a better class of hotel this would not be the case - unfortunately no. I can handle this and there was no rudeness when I declined the numerous offers of 'companionship'.
Big minus point - the smoking area was situated in the best common area of the hotel which is unfair as not everyone could enjoy the views. It needs to be moved to be fair to non-smokers.
I would return to this hotel at the right price, as solo can sometimes translate to rip-off!

“ Excellent hotel,staff very welcoming polite and cheerfull.Rooms are beautiful,every were was immaculately clean,food is very very good and there is lots of choice.its the warmest pool i've ever been in and plenty of sunbeds.We went with friends but are going back again with all the family it's great for children.If you go out of the hotel for a drink be careful they charge a lot for it we were caught out.We have been to rui marharbra and royal kenz and this hotel is better than either of them.Would recomend it to anyone.

“ Whilst food was of good quality it was very very repetative with very little choice for any nationality. Additionally there was very little bordering on nothing for young children.
“ Top Tip: Beach was quite often dirty with Kelp/Seaweed. I would advise friends to be very wary of your transfer arrangements. When you eventually find someone at the airport to tell you which coach you are on there is very little support or organisation. We had to change half way through the transfer to a taxi which in the middle of the night with a 2 year old child in the party is totally unacceptable.
