Room was good - comfortable, clean and warm
The bar staff were particularly pleasant and the service from the bar staff was excellent.
The food was repetitive and often over cooked...........edible but disappointing for a
4 star hotel.
The situation of the hotel was good, very near a clean sandy beach and set in quite pleasant grounds.
The hotel was quiet and Im glad I took plenty of books. There was nothing to do in the evenings..............the hotel could have benefited from someone playing an organ or piano in the evening and clients could then either sit and listen to it or dance. This was probably the most disappointing part of my stay.........just nothing to do in the evenings apart from sit and chat........disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
“ Top Tip: Taxis often wait outside the hotel and they charge 7 dinars to go into Monastir which is about 5 kilometers away.(this goes up to 10 dinars after 9 oclock in the evening. However, if you take a louage you can travel into Monastir for 1 dinar.....a small bus which transports 8 people.............they pass frequently

“ A very clean & friendly hotel. Well contained so the kids can wander off with out worrying about them. Food Excellent and staff always willing to help with out the impression they are just after a tip. We went slightly out of season but still the kids club was open if they wanted it and with a couple of cloudy days the inside pool was a real saviour. Would definitely go back. Only one slight drawback, we flew to Monastir Airport which is 5 mins down the road, I understand from end of April 2011 the flights are being moved to a new airport 30 Km away so that means a slightly longer transfer time, but worth it !!

“ We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel after an initial mix up with our rooms. The food was very good and we managed to feed our 6 year old with no problems. The pool was good and the beach. The staff were friendly and efficient - especially in the restaurant with children. They managed to remember the names of all the children and talk to them at each meal time.
“
Top Tip:
Using the local buses to go into Monastir and Sousse was much better and much cheaper than using taxis.
Don't be persuaded into going on 'free' trips by people hanging around in the hotel - they just want to take you somewhere where you will be encouraged to buy carpets, leather goods etc.which is fine if that's what you want to do, but most of us don't on first arrival.
