“ the room i stayed in was standard, nice views over looking the beach. however i did see what the new rooms look like and if all rooms undergo renovation it will definitely live up to its 5 star rating.

“ A great place to stay although in a remote area, there are bars, restaurants, Gym, out and in-door pools, a beach, and evening entertainment on site. The hotel grounds are secure, and a safe in your room for valuable items which was the only problem we had as it took two days to get it in working order. The staff are very friendly and happy in their work. Most of the staff in reception have a good command of English language and others in the hotel have basic understanding or a handy colleague. The dining facilities are plentiful, and varied meals served in a good restaurant with attentive friendly staff. The standard room was spacious, en siute with bath and shower, and had a balcony which, in our case, overlooked the pool area. Towels were changed each day and the room tidied, although the balcony was forgotten. The Air conditioning, though adequate for me, could have been cooler in my wife's estimation in our room. Outdoors it was 32 C in the shade! The beach was cordoned off, reserving of any loungers throughout hotel is against rules. We were on half board tariff.

“ Top Tip: If you have no transfer arrangements when you arrive at Tunis airport, go upstairs to the Departures hall and exit there and take a yellow taxi to your hotel, the meter should be used and you will be charged the proper fare. Use them to get around in your stay. Also, be wary of helpful people who say that they work in your hotel when you are out sight-seeing, as it's a con!
