“ Hotel and rooms are kept very clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Would have liked to have had more information about places to visit and accessing transport. Was surprised to be charged for water and coffee with evening meal. Food good standard generally but more variety with main meal would have been nice especially as we stayed for 3 weeks.

“ The Marina hotel was closed for refurbishment and we were put into to Aspen Hotel.
The hotel was fine, rooms comfortable and clean. Tiles round the swimming pool needed cleaning and breakfast was O.K apart for the fact that the only fruit on offer was water melon every morning. The answers above refer to the Aspen

“ Marina Residence is a good value for money. We stayed here for one week in July 2011, half board. Building is interesting, well maintained, renovated ottoman house consisting of three houses combined together in complex. Clean, homely atmosphere, good food, friendly and welcoming staff. No evening entertainment at all, but you can find all of this in the town center. Suitable mainly for families, couples who are looking for relaxing and enjoyable time. Air conditioning in room was helpful as there was 40 C outdoor every day. I found this hotel having the best location in old town - the closest to the beach - private, lovely and cozy place to enjoy warm and clear sea, great for snorkling and sunbathing. And 10 liras (4 pounds) per day per person did not seem too much to spend for it. You can find free public beach in around 30 minutes going by bus from the town centre - Lara beach, sandy and flat, suitable for kids. Or enjoy well maintained pool in hotel.
Must admit that drinks were expensive in the hotel - beer priced as in Britain's pubs, but in local market - just in 2 minutes walk up the road from hotel, we found the canned and bottled 0,5 l rather dicent local beer for 3 liras - around 1,25 pounds.
Old town is delightful place to walk around along the narrow streets, where you can find numerous places to eat out, shops with local crafts, even rock bar.
Boat trip was an relaxing experience, remember to bargain for price - 50 liras for couple is good one, whereas they will offer you 40 liras for person from the beginning... Sea was increadibly warm, clear and true deep blue colour as you can see on pictures. Dont forget your sun protection at all times - and... off to Antalya!
