The Pirat Hotel is central to all local amenities and just 200 metres from the beach which consists of patio platforms over the sea with sun beds and umbrellas (free of charge). You are walking distance to the town's shops and restaurants where you can shop for that exotic gift, dance the night away or just stroll the quaint narrow streets that are lined with bougainvillea.

Room Facilities:
The Pirat Hotel consists of 2 blocks of accommodation the original building contains reception and a lift. There is a newer, more modern building located over the road where the swimming pools can be found. All guest rooms are bright and spacious and accommodate up to 3 adults. They also feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with shower, telephone and a balcony.

Just had my third stay at the Pirat. It is in the best location in Kalkan and has everything you could ask for. Beautiful pool area and bar, rooms mostly overlooking the fabulous view and right next to the Marina and old town.
The staff are all lovely too.
I am sure I will return next time I visit Kalkan - why would you stay anywhere else!

“ Top Tip: the yacht point restaurant was a friendly place to grab something to eat, the staff are so friendly made me feel really at home, the coast restaurant has lovely food and a friendly atmosphere would recommend both of these places.

We have said this the Pirate is not suitable for familys and old people only because Kalkan is on a hill and the Hotel had many steps. If you are fit or are just happy to puff your way up the stairs and hills stopping of for a refreshing drink or to gaze at the wonderful views on the way then we fully recommend it.
We were very happy with our room and those stairs meant we had a wonderful view of the harbour, sunrise over the mountains and sunset over the sea.
The Hotel was clean with very friendly staff, they even made a temporary bridge over the road when it flooded in the rain so we didn't have to wade through the water. Reggae the barman was very helpful showing us on his computer the roads to take and places to visit.
Our only complaint was there was not a lot of choice with the food. What we had was fine but there was really only a choice between a pasta or meat/fish as the main dish, although there was a large variety of side dishes.
We were also requested not to take food or drink to our rooms, this is the first time we have been asked not to do this.
“ Top Tip: CAFE DEL MAR, lovely quaint small friendly bar, the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by, with delicous food and drinks and plenty of nick nacks to look at and buy if you wish.
