3s Beach Club Hotel

“ This hotel has the most amazing location with lovely views across the bay and beyond. The pool was beautiful with lots of sun beds and the beach well equipped not just with sun beds but also with gazebos and bean bags under the trees. Even though it was full for the first few days there was plenty of room. Yes the sea does drop pretty quickly but that great for swimming and if you walk just along the promenade you can go into the sea and walk for a long way just up to your chest. It was so peaceful there and we felt quite relaxed and chilled and this really hit you after an excursion or a dolmus ride to Bodrum. It was also an easy and flat walk to the centre of the village with loads of good restaurants and shops.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the cleaners worked well. We had some examples of floral art a few times. The bar too was a good meeting place and Sabo the barman a top guy. Why not more stars? Well it was the management which pulled it down. The staff in the restaurant were task oriented not customer focused. It is difficult to explain but the manager seemed to think guests were irrelevant as long as the tasks got done. To us there was a feeling that the restaurant was not a happy place. As previous people have stated the evening meal was not to our taste, and not Turkish either, but breakfast was fine with all the items you usually find in a Turkish hotel. Why bother when you get a good price and all those lovely restaurants waiting to be tried.

All in all though this was one of the best value hotels we have visited in Turkey (it was our 27th visit) and we enjoyed it so much we will return. For the price we paid it was truly lovely, if you ignored the management!

“ I have just returned from a fifth stay at this hotel and unlike the previous visits, came back a little disappointed. The reception staff were still very good, as were the cleaning staff - the rooms were kept very clean. The hotel is a pleasant place and very quiet. However the standard of the waiting staff around the pool was poor. We did not feel encouraged to stay around the hotel, so went out during the day and for evening meals.

“ The 3S beach club turned out to be a really good hotel in Bitez , Turkey. The rooms were basic but well turned out and were cleaned every day all the equipment in the rooms worked. The reception and hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The meals provided were the best I have had from any hotel abroad and the variety of food was changed every day. The facilities were also very good including the large pool and bar were very close by, And the beach was on the doorstep also the amount of sun loungers with mattresses was amazing. To get to other bars and restaurants was just a minute away. Good eating places on the front were the Almera (Excellent well prepared food) and The Lemon Tree (Very good cuisine). I can also recommend the New Season of the front were you can get a meal and a Efes beer and the waiters (Especially Barki are brilliant). Another good restaurant is Ratinki which is just next to th supermarket and the back of the Mosque on the Front (It's only been open a year but the staff are great and the food is gorgeous), If you go to the top end of the beach then you come to the Temple Bar that as live entertainment every night starting about 9..30pm. But this hotel is great and I would recommend it and the price we payed was very cheap. Well done Travel Republic.
