“ Having just returned from a fabulous 10 day all inclusive stay at the Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel in Gumbet, I am pleased to say that I found this hotel to be almost perfect. The whole complex was spotlessly clean at all times, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The whole complex was spotlessly clean at all times, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of lifts but the layout of the rooms is a little confusing at timesThe roof top restaurant has the most beautiful views and the variety of food on offer is excellent. There are 4 other separate restaurants, Chinese, Italian, Turkish and Fish all serving food kind of A La Carte and unlike other hotels there is no additional charge (unless you select something other than the all inclusive drinks) The hotel is steps away from the beach and just a few minutes away from the main strip. The only thing that I feel could be improved is the temperature of the hot food however this is OK in the "a la carte" restaurants.

Top Tip:
We enjoyed a trip to Kos on the Fast Catamaran, a day trip to Ephesus and a five stop boat trip all organised by local hotel rep. All were good value although the trip to Ephesus was long as we made additional stops on the return journey which we were not expecting. The Turkish Bath/Massage at the Royal Asarlik was superb and great value too. The little green bus to Bodrum is easy and runs frequently. Be warned however that many tours collect you in a minibus taxi and take you to a
rendezvous point to collect a main coach to your destination. Although not a huge deal this adds extra travelling time as you always seem to waiting for fellow passengers to arrive from other hotels and some even manage to get on the wrong coach!
