Skysea Gokdeniz Hotel
Turgutreis, Bodrum, Turkey
“ The hotel is very close to the beach and our room had a lovely sea view. The hotel was well presented and worth its 3 star rating. Our room was spacious and clean and the room service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was quiet because it was early in the season. This meant that there was limited choice of food, with no buffet option for the evening meal.8.5 Excellent

“ Not as described as the rooms were very poor, no variety at mealtimes, no hot running water. This is just a few of the downers for the 2 weeks we were at the Skysea hotel.
“ Top Tip: Best place to eat is about a 15-20 minute wall and that is at a bar/restaurant called 'Cool Breeze.' Excellent food and a very friendly atmosphere, staff who make you feel very welcome.

“ Top Tip: Lovely walk along the promenade to Central Turgutreis, with lots of choice of shops and restaurants.

“ The hotel is clean and the staff helpful. Everything works, if a bit tired but excellent value for money and the views are to die for, especially at sunset. A bit on the edge of the town but a lovely walk along the pedestrianised sea front.

“ We enjoyed our stay at the Skysea hotel the owner was very friendly, we thought the bedroom of the hotel was in need of some upgrading. We were bed and breakfast only and could not fault the breakfast it was typically Turkish which is what we expected. The pool at the hotel was very good for swimming in, although we preferred to swim, in the sea, the beach is in front of the hotel down some stairs, there are some sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach for use of hotel guests at no extra charge the cushions and umbrellas could do with being replaced. The sand is very stoney especially getting ino the water but once in the sea it is fabulous. We ate out most nights as we like to go into town it is a 15 minute walk into Turgetreis from the hotel but if you are fit and able it is worth while going into town as the restaurants are excellent, as is the night life. The hotel is suitable for older people if they are fit as there is no lift.
“ Top Tip: We liked most of the estaurants , Cool Breeze, Uncles and Khaliki the resttaurant with tables on the beach were our favourite. Toshes bar next to Uncles is friendly
