A five minute ride of the busy resort of Hisaronü, close to Ölü Deniz beach, is the Ernur Apartment Hotel, in Ovacik. The pretty, immaculately clean apartments, with good-sized swimming pool, popular quality restaurant serving traditional Turkish and English cuisine, Sky TV, pool table, massage and laundry service and the excellent team keep the hotel a firm favourite with those wanting a friendly and relaxing base to enjoy a holiday in beautiful Turkey.
The apartments are a good size with air-conditioning, balconies, with garden or pool views and the surrounding mountains. There are 12 apartments, 10 are one-bedroomed but also have a double sofa bed in the lounge areas so can sleep 4. There is a split level family apartment with 2 double bedrooms and wonderful balcony views and also a luxury apartment in the roof of the building with more stunning views particularly of the Babadag Mountain famous for paragliders. They have a lounge and balcony, kitchen, bedroom and balcony, bathroom, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, cooking equipment.
The Hotel has a good-sized pool and it is here where most guests spend their days, enjoying the drinks, afternoon tea, homemade cakes and cream teas and food available from the pool bar or restaurant while relaxing, swimming and getting a wonderful sun tan. The pretty, large restaurant has an open fire for the autumn and winter evenings. Speedboat trips, weekly Turkish BBQ nights and live entertainment nights. All wheelchair accessible too.

“ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, THE OWNERS COULDNT DO ENOUGH.THEY OFFER A GOOD BREAKFAST, ESPECIALLY LIKED THE IDEA OF APARTMENT AS OPPOSED TO JUST HOTEL ROOM. THIS HOTEL CATERS FOR ALL NEEDS, JUST A FEW MINUTES WALK TO PICK UP LOCAL BUS TO BEACH AND ALL OTHER AMENITIES. WILL DEFINATELY BOOK THERE AGAIN.

The accommodation is adequate, kept clean and comfortable with basic cooking utensils, music and entertainment could be better (we must have heard every Turkish song while staying there), for animal lovers there is a dog and some cats that roam around the premises, The area is generally quite and to reach the hotel is hilly which older people will find a bit of a struggle.
My main complaint is the young waiter/barman who needs to learn customers names and do not keep calling them mate, he was reminded 5 times my name and still seemed unable to grasp it, which is not good when there were only a handful of people staying.
