3 T Hotel

“ This hotel is about 1½ miles out of the town centre (up and down some very steep hills) but is in a lovely peaceful location near Kalamar Bay with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains.

This hotel suited us as it meant we got the excercise walking into town and back (although there are plenty of taxi's and dolmus buses). There are several restaurants, and a supermarket, within the local vicinity, so this location is fine for a peaceful holiday if you don't want to venture out too far. Alternatively, as we did, you can walk into town (takes about 35 - 40 minutes in your flat shoes - longer in heels and NOT recommended!) and enjoy the shopping and dining options available in the town centre.

There isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity, or in the hotel, but this is ideal place to get away from it all and completely relax.

The hotel was very quite when we were there in May and we felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Rooms were large and spacious with a large sitting room area with a fridge and TV. The balcony was huge and we had a lovely view of the sea. The hotel pool is lovely, large and deep enough to have a 'proper' swim.

Rooms are cleaned daily and bed linen and towels were changed regularly. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We felt completely safe staying in this area, even when walking home late at night and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others, and would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again.

“ Top Tip: Kalamar Bay, down a very steep incline from the hotel, is a great place for sunbathing, as an alternative to the hotel terrace, and offer watersports and diving facilities in the bay. There is also a nice restaurant on the terrace above the bay.

“ We enjoyed our stay in a two bed apartment with balcony (partial sea view).
The facilities were generally good although a microwave or oven would have given better options for cooking in. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and the complex was kept very clean and tidy.
Its proximity to the beach at Kalamar Bay was areal bonus being only a 5 min walk. This is the quieter end of Kalkan which suited us. We rented a car for the duration of our holiday and this proved invaluable in this location for getting into Kalkan centre, it is a fair old trek up and down hill otherwise.
We would definitely come back to this hotel.

“ Top Tip: We enjoyed sitting on the terraced 'free beach' at Kalamar bay. Ther are sun beds available with parasols at no charge , but you will probably feel obliged to buy a drink or ice cream from the Kolube hotel terrace bar/restaurant which is situated just above the beach and has a waiter who comes round now and then asking if you want something.

“ Had a great holiday, good size appartment clean and well set out. Location is rather out of KalKan but there is a regular bus into town and a taxi back will not break the bank. Kalkan centre is a 30min walk away. Kalkan is a lovely village, plenty of places to eat and drink, not to noisy, but VERY steep hill's Ladies I would recommend flat shoes only. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing break then 3T is the place for you, plenty of sunbeds and umberella's when we went, would certainly consider accommodation again.

“ Top Tip: Kalamar beach club is a good change from being around the pool, though be aware there is no beach, sun terraces's, water sports including a trampoline in the water all good fun, small charge for sunbeds but will taxi or boat you back to your hotel. Food available in resturant at a good price.
