Cenk Bey Hotel

“ We very much enjoyed our stay at Cenkbey Hotel. The staff were very helpful and lovely and made us very welcome.

The twin room was very small with a cute little balcony, but was adequate for all our needs, there was always lovely hot water in the evenings & the room was cleaned thoroughly to high standards.

No complaints at all, just one or two improvements that we suggest, that would have made our stay a little more comfortable. It would be nice to have some hangers in the wardrobe(there was 1 for us two ladies). Also, replace the wall attachment for the shower head, enabling standing under the running shower.

We, fortunatly brought our own travel kettle (typical English people want a cuppa Tea, first & last thing), so another suggestion, would be, a kettle in the room, a great idea to add for any future guests.

We enjoyed the Hotel Breakfasts & had a few evening meals which were all more than satisfactory.

Yes....We would go back to Cenkbey Hotel again.... it was very nice (even though it was on a busy road).

It is in an ideal situation, with only a short walk to lots of local shops, the water taxi's, regular buses, beautiful Calis beach & loads of fantastic resturants to choose from.

“ WE stayed at Cenkbey in September 2010 and again September 2011 and have booked three weeks again for the same time for 2012. We think it is a very good hotel.

“ Top Tip: The Meri bar is very close and shows all live football.

“ Small family run hotel five minutes walk from the beach. Rooms pretty basic but quite adequate and cleaned every day with towels replaced. Staff not overbearing but very polite and friendly always willing to help. Food pretty plain but saying that it was always very good and always plenty of it!!
Only downside is the road noise factor, having read previous reviews about this i paid the suppliment to have a quieter, pool view room but on arrival was told there was none available so was put facing the road. This wasn't good as you were woken too early every morning to traffic flying past. If thinking of going I would suggest you phone the hotel direct to confirm you can have a poolside room before booking. Andrea the owner speaks perfect English amongst other languages so there would be no problem with her understanding you.
Bearing in mind the low cost of this hotel I found it amazing value and would definalely go back again!!

“ Top Tip: If spending the day on the beach it's a good idea to turn right and head down to the Memosa beach bar, they don't charge you for the sun loungers etc as long as you get your drinks from them, theyre very reasonable!! Also on an evening head to the beach and turn left, go way down to the Turkish bar where you can lay on the cushions under the tents listening to authentic Turkish music, makes a change from the other bars and is worth the walk. Don't forget to try Ali's bar on the way to the beach, only ginger haired Turkish people I saw! Ali, Fec, Oz and the lovely Apo are all very friendly and serve lovely lovely food!! The excursions are excellent value, but shop around, don't go to the first you see, and be prepred to barter, they WILL lower the price for you or do a deal if you book a few trips. Top tip, if you want a relaxing boat trip, specify a 'quiet' boat, I got a lovely one for the 12 Islands trip then one with deafening music on the 6 Island trip, not good at all!!! All in all a fantastic place to go and soo cheap compared to the UK. Don't miss the 5 lira trip on the water taxi to Fetiya, il never look at a UK taxi the same now!! And the sunsets are amazing!!! Enjoy your trip!!!!

“ hotel was in a very good position just round the corner from the bars and only a few mins walk to the beach, we were half board it was served buffet style and was turkish food everything was spot on the only thing this hotel needs is a fridge in the room and it would be perfect
