Devamli Boutique Hotel

“ We arrived late at night. The night receptionist was cheerful and welcoming. No food available as the kitchen had closed. The Chef, next door was open and we had a wonderful meal. The rooms in the Devamli were clean and cleaned daily. The sheets and towels were changed daily. My expectations of a 'Boutique Hotel' are obviously different from their own. There was chipped paint. The grouting in the bathroom was black in places. The day staff on reception were not exactly friendly. The man outside the Loveboat - Seldom? - was very unfriendly, and a little rude on occasions, but then we did not eat there every night. Mostly because they only had 4 vegetarian options, and on the night we did eat there, one of those was not available (Pizza) as it was the end of the season!? The hotel has a notice board of events - nothing appeared on it at all. They advertised films, but we found out you had to buy the film and they showed it in your room. We had rain, and there is nothing to do in the rain in Icmeler, let alone the hotel. The Sports bar staff - the best is Semi (Shemmy), the rest blow hot or cold. Again we did not drink there on a daily basis.

“ Top Tip: We had been to Icmeler before - it is a beautiful town with nice people. Very safe. It feels safe at all times of the day and night. There are lots - possible hundreds of eateries and bars, and we have yet to see drunks. There were a lot of disabled people there, so it is suitable for wheelchairs and sticks. The Stella Show in the Harmony Bar near the harbor is very funny. We really enjoyed our experience of booking with Travel Republic and being independent. It is easy to book trips and days out without the need for a rep. Thank you for being so good - everything happened when you said it would.

The Sport bar and Love Boat Restaurant owned by the Hotel are two of the best in the resort.
The jacuzzi and loungers on the sun deck are excellent.

“ Top Tip: You can find all you want in Icmeler its close to paradise.

“ Could not fault this hotel - spotlessly clean, friendly staff and very central. Pool was small and quite exposed to street however this was not a problem as it's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely be more than willing to return to this hotel.

“ Top Tip: The Majestic Restaurant by the Canal - great food and entertainment.

“ The Hotel was really good but the owners mother sits in the foyer all day and you can't even get a smile from her, she was very ignorant, anytime i said good morning she would just look right through me. in the end i just stopped saying it, it was quite uncomfortable. i've been to this hotel twice now and find the rest of the staff very helpful and very happy. i won't go back now as a result of the ignorance of the owners mother.

“ Top Tip: The Love boat restaurant attached to this hotel is a must, the fillet steak is to die for, you will not find better in Icmeler, please book to avoid dissapointment. I will return to this restaurant not the hotel.
