Had a fabulous time at The Majestic Club and Tuana Park Hotel in May 2012. Location and service were exceptional. A little let down by lack of evening entertainment and beach was a little rough. But on saying that we would go there again.
Local beers, wines and spirits were very good and in plentyfull supply. Food was good and varied. Perhaps a little spicy for some, but plenty there.
We stayed in Park 2, which was lovely if you prefered the quiet. Not too far from the Club part which has the biggest pool and main restaurant, but Park 2 also had a big pool, pool side bar and a la carte restaurant which you could have buffet lunch at every day and evening meal once during your stay at the resort. The club part of the resort was very nice too and the activties surrounding it were good. Played tennis and had a great laugh :). Most families stayed around the large pool, with many daytime activities in and around the pool area. The many two story accomodation blocks were surrounded by exceptional gardens.
The resort was right on the beach and had its own pier. The beach itself was dark sharp sand with lots of pebbles which spanned the shoreline. But if you were happy to swim from the pier steps, the sea was fine. There were many sea activities and lots which were included in the price. We were only there for 7 days and one of them at a Wedding, so only got to try the twin canoe, which was fun. Beach volleyball was entertaining.
The rooms were lovely, clean and well kept. Ours was on the shady side and therefore a little damp in the evenings. Appreciate we could have complained, but felt it might have been the time of year as the weather wasn't great. Again we were only there for 7 days and so made do.
The evening entertainment was a little flat though. The younger kids did enjoy it and the entertainment staff were very friendly and tried to give the best of fun, but after kids bed time some evenings were rubbish. Would have to make the suggestion that they get in some later evening entertainment like quality singers or acts to keep the adults entertained too!
To sum up - Quality location and service, lovely rooms, good daytime entertainment & activities and good food & drink. A class hotel and well worth a visit.
“ Top Tip: Visited Turkey for a wedding which took place at the Blue Lagoon. What a fabulous location! Absolutely Beautiful!!!

“ Our friends stay every year at this resort and this year we decided to join them. Unfortunately things got off to a bad start when we were put in an amazing family room and then told the next day we had to move to a small room, top floor at the farthest end of the complex. The manager actually came into our room to tell us whilst i was taking a shower! very unprofessional. This new block and another in Tuana Park2 area are still being completed. So we had issues with a dark corridor at night to try and find our room, water being cut off and noisy site work first thing in the morning. This hotel also has farm animal near this area which are noisy and cockerals are crowing all through the night! This said our friends had a club room near the main resort with higher standard shower and bath, better decor and quieter etc. The entertainment team are amazing and work long hard hours. Food is great - def recommend you book a night in the turkish restaurant. Staff are all friendly. A buggy takes you to your room with your bags etc on arrival. When it rains the marble flooring all around teh resort is very dangerous and slippery - i fell on it so i know! spa facility is great - you usually get a free facial mask too.
“ Top Tip: Get the dolmus into Fethiye from outside the hotel for 5tl. Market is in Fethiye on a Tuesday. Hire a speedboat at the resort to take you on a tour - for our group of eight worked out around £15 each. Get the peel and foam massage when you arrive for around £20/hr. means you end up with a great tan at the end!

“ I have rated this hotel lower mainly becauce of the very repetiitive food, also the lack of good quality meats. The rest of the hotel is a credit to the staff, gardens, standard of cleaning and helpfullness cannot be faulted, shame about the food.

“ The hotel grounds are beautiful and really well maintained. The rooms are lovely - fairly simple but roomy, clean, comfortable, excellent showers, with fridge, balcony, plenty of storage space. Staff are polite and helpful, the entertainment team are very visible and get guests involved in the various resort activities. Food is plentiful, a really good variety to suit every taste and like the drinks is available pretty much around the clock. Beautiful stretch of beach although raking at night time would make it perfect. Loved this place and can't wait to go back!
“ Top Tip: Take the Dolmus to Fethiye, at 5 lira and one leaving just outside the gates every 10 minutes its a bargain. Or the hotel shuttle bus at 6 lira takes less time overall but more restricted on times. The Fish Market is great - choose and pay for your seafood then for a small price any of the restaurants in the market will cook it for you and dish it up - fresh, delicious fish, prawns, crab, whatever. Glorious!
