Room Facilities:
The Hotel Flamingo features 38 rooms in different categories. Flamingo 1 rooms contain twin beds, en suite with shower/bath, air conditioning (payable locally), television, hair dryer and phone and each room has its own balcony. Flamingo 2 rooms are a bit more luxurious, being considerably larger and, in addition to the above, containing a well stocked mini bar. Flamingo Suites are ideal for families with children. The suites have 2 separate rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen. Air conditioning in both rooms (payable locally), TV and phone are also available. Both of the rooms have balconies with a beautiful view and many luxurious touches.

“ beautiful views from the balcony and the terrace where we had breakfast. Rooms were cleaned and tidied everyday and the staff could not have been more lovely. Also a 5 minute walk to olu deniz beach and a massive selection of brilliant restaurants. Tour rep was also very helpful and knowledgable

“ we have stayed here before in june for 2weeks just myself and my husband but this time we went with my daughter ,grandaughter,and my dad and we had a wondreful time the mananger and this team are fad and i will looking to go back next june with my husband if we can get a get price thanks
“ Top Tip: lagoon we went to billys beach which is great for children as it is so swallow and get to swin in and very safe for everyone. restaurant was sultan memet which is in the town about 5 min walk all the other restaurants are good two .

Although the hotel is suitable for older people, there are a lot of steps around the hotel complex so it is not the best in this regard. The staff do make a big point of helping out however.
We were told the hotel was overbooked on our arrival at 2am and we had to stay in a nighbouring hotel for teh fisrt night - this was not very good especially as we were so tired from travelling but we were eventually booked into a lovely room with a sea view to make up for any inconvenience.
“ Top Tip: The Help Beach Lounge/Bar on the beach front served excellent food and had a very chilled atmosphere. Teh natural park next to Lykia World complex just out of OluDeniz was much quieter then the main beach or the lagoon but was lovely with showers and a snack bar etc. It is within easy walking distance.

Unfortunately when we arrived around 5.00am on Sunday 11th Sept after a late flight on the Saturday, tired and just looking forward to getting into our room, we were told that the room we booked months ago was not yet ready but not to worry as "there was a room available to us". The room was more like a dungeon and in fact it transpires that nearly everyone who arrives in the early morning flights do not get the rooms they booked. We booked and paid for a deluxe room which we eventually received at around 3.00pm the next day. Had we received this room in the first place our perception of the hotel may have been cpmpletely different because it turned out to be a very nice room indeed.
We were only booked for bed and breakfast and wish that we hadn't bothered with breakfast because it was awful. Same every morning so after a couple of mornings we decided to eat out for breakfast and got some great deals.
Staff were also not very freindly, not sure if this is to do with the fact that they are unsure oif what is happening with the hotel as there were rumours that it was being closed down for refurbishment and perhaps they were apfrad for their jobs or maybe it had to do with the time of yer, i.e. coming to the end of the season.
“ Top Tip: Try a little place called "Swallows Restaurant" - lovely food, nice friendly staff - wht a difference the Flamingo Hotel. Also restuarants The Secret Garden and Oba Garden Restaurant were very good value for money and the food was excellent, as was the service.
