The Oyster Residence is quite possibly the best hotel we have stayed in - and we are discerning travellers. The rooms are simple yet elegant and are all set out in individual themes. A lot of non residents chose to eat there for lunch and dinner. Most people we talked to had been there before and first timers like us would stay there again. We we there for the last week of the season yet friends who flew in from Istanbul were allowed to stay on after we left.
The real highlight was the staff; Mohammed and Ishmael and Mustafa were brilliant. Helpful, knowledgeable and kind without being intrusive. Mohamed in particular was a star. All three had worked at the hotel for 14 years. That says a lot.
“ Top Tip: The main beach is stunning and widely photographed . A short walk takes you to the lagoon. One side is a UNESCO resrerve but a short walk past the entrance the site will take you Sunset beach and Billys which are more lively and both are really safe for small children. There are lots of trips available and are all great value. Just cruizing around the islands, diving off the boat and a simple but well cooked lunch - who could as for anything more?

“ V attractive, relaxed boutique hotel thats right on the beach. Outside areas are beautifully landscaped with olive and fruit trees. Rooms are large, clean and nicely furnished. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
“ Top Tip: Loved the Buzz Bar. Great cocktails and perfect place to watch the sun go down. Olu Deniz has lots of good places to eat. Visit Fethiye - huge market on Tuesdays, lovely waterfront bars and restaurants. Try the fish market if you like seafood.
