Leytur Hotel

“ The hotel was excellent, the only complaint was there was no hot water until our last night, when one other client complained and it was repaired.

“ Top Tip: The hotel is on its own but the dlolmus bus is a short walk away and very cheap to get into the town, where there are lots and lots of bars and eateries.

“ Excellent hotel with excellent standards, great pool, very nice rooms that are cleaned everyday. All the hotel staff are excellent, whether you are new to them and quiet as we were, or one of the many couples revisting the hotel. I will miss Hasan and his bar! The location is a slight inconvenience, but the dolmus bus every few minutes is very handy, though you do have to use this if you want to go anywhere. Its about 30mins walk into Hisaronu.
The only other complaint is a lack of fridge in the room, as this turns a B&B holiday into a more expensive one than self catering, as you have to eat out for lunch as well as tea, rather than going to the local supermarket and stocking the fridge.
All in all i would definately recommend this hotel, especially for the price, and is the nicest i have stayed in whilst abroad.

“ Nice clean recently renovated hotel with a good pool. All staff very friendly. In a good location to have a relaxing break in the mountains with clean air (and absolutely no mosquitos) but close enough to pop on the dolmus to Hisaronu/Olu Deniz or Fetiyhe.

“ This hotel is immaculately clean, with friendly (but not overbearing) staff. It is in a beautful setting with the mountains as your view. The pool is really large, clean, the pool area, bar, and small restaurant space adequate.

The food in the restaurant a la carte menu ranges from average to a high standard dependent on what you choose. (There is a lot of food aimed at the english, but this is typical in Turkey, at least the chips are home cooked rather than frozen ones I guess is a plus!)

The only draw back is that there is nothing really around the hotel except another couple of hotels. (no shops, bars, anything at all) it is however 30 mins on the Dolmus (from right by the hotel) to Olu Deniz with a beach, shops and restaurants, so was not so bad but it did leave us lost for what to do at lunch times if we were by the pool as we did not fancy burgers and greasy food etc! (the greasy food was the lunch menu, the evening menu had lots of choice)

The breakfast was basic, coffee, juice, bread, honey, olives, salami (weird salami not sure of meat content!) hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, cheeses - but this is the type of breakfast great in a hot country anyway.

The hotel is excellent value, rooms are newly renovated but do not have a fridge or anything so given the remote location it can feel a little too quiet!

We would definitely go back if we wanted to relax, but not if we wanted a bit of adventure!

“ Top Tip: - do all of the trips, turkish baths, paragliding, etc etc as there is not a lot else to do there!
- pack mossie spray
- go to the Help! beach bar and restaurant
- the beach is stony so perhaps bring hardwearing sandals (my flip flops broke and were not up to the challenge!)
