For lunch and evening meal there was a good salad bar and a choice of mezes along with chicken, meat and fish options and selection of vegetables, rice and pasta.

Description:

Vela Hotel is a 3* resort situated in Icmeler. The airport is 95km away and the town of Marmaris only 2km. It was renovated in 2011 and it offers beautiful rooms and many facilities. The hotel offers a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, making it the ultimate place for those requiring pleasant vacations.

The hotel has 98 large and comfortable rooms, indoor open buffet restaurant, 200 m² outdoor pool, kids pool, pool bar, terrace bar, and sun garden.

All rooms have bathroom, satellite TV, mini-bar, direct dial phone (with charge), split air-conditioning, balcony and safe box(with charge). The floors are covered with ceramic tile.

“ We had a 2 night stay in the Vela with a couple of friends, one of which is a vegetarian. We all thought the food was good with a good choice at breakfast. For lunch and evening meal there was a good salad bar and a choice of mezes along with chicken, meat and fish options and selection of vegetables, rice and pasta. We couldn't understand the comments from other guests who were very negative about the food. I have to say that a lot of them didn't even try the mezes or touch the salad and vegetables on offer.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly apart from the young man who looked after the pool bar who didn't have much in the way of customer service.

For a value for money 'All inclusive' the Vela ticked all boxes and is a good option.

“ we found the hotel to be nice and clean with very helpful staff , who mainly spoke very good english . towels changed every day if needed , food ok , not much choice , though always something to eat , even if it was mainly chicken of different sorts.
i must say though , the other guests make or break the holiday and we were lucky enough to meet a lovely couple , dave and julie , we spent many an evening listening to other brits moaning about all sorts of things , mainly the food , and quite rightly , IF THEY HAD PAID 1ST CLASS PRICES which we all hadnt , value for money very good.
go for rooms facing the sea , room 405 has a beautiful view.

“ Top Tip: golmar beach and resteraunt area is good for beach and servie, though all sunbeds were free when we went in oct , all they ask is u buy a drink or 2 from their bar which will be brought to u .

“ Top Tip: The Red Lion where the food was very good and had offers.
