  • We travelled as a family of 4, 2 Kids aged 6yrs and celebrated our baby's 1st birthday during our stay. The room was very spacious, with two balcony's (1facing the pool and one facing the street), it could do with updating but it was clean.

when we arrived at the hotel, there was no food supplied, had to take our own suitcases to our room, there was no lift and we had to climb the stairs in the dark. the beds hadn't been changed, there were hairs on them and it looked like someone had slept in them, the toilet area was very dirty, the hot tap in the shower came off in my hand. I actually had to clean the shower, sink and toilet myself. The room was digustingly unhygienic. The food was cold, the alcohol drinks were watered down. The pool was disgusting. I also have photographic evidence of the hotel room, if you wish to see it i will forward it to you .The bar closed at half past 9, you were only allowed 1 drink at a time, the was no entertainment at all.The first night i was violently sick all night due to the cold foods and the state of the hotel. The breakfasts were not up to scratch, there wasnt a variety of meals to choose from and they were always cold.I would be grateful if you could look into this and i would not even take my dog there.

Mrs L. Wilson and Mrs P.Ferrier.

Top Tip: There was nothing entertaining near the hotel. If we wanted to go somewhere for entertainment we had to go further into town.

When we first arrived the room we were given was not cleaned properly, the bed had been slept in and an ash tray was full. We asked to change rooms and was given a new one but without an apology. The new room had a broken shower door which was detached from the shower and the sink leaked all over the bathroom floor. The rooms were very basic and not very clean.

We didnt use the swimming pool as it hardly had any sun on it throughout the day.
The drinks were watered down and you could only get one at a time so you were unable to get one for your partner etc. The drinks were served in small plastic beakers that held enough for a few sips at a time.
The food choices were limited with only one hot food option.
Staff didnt seem very friendly and we waited for a long time to be served at reception. I wouldnt go back here again.

The cot I requested was broken with a cat lying in it to start, then we were on the 2nd floor with a pram and no lift but the staff moved us first thing next morning and couldn't be more helpfull, the room was good, clean, with 2 balconies and maid service but the food was repetitive, cold and re used. The drink was very poor but the bar men were very friendly and would serve you as much as you liked. I went in a party of 10 so we would have fun reguardless of our surroundings. I would return to The Blue Lagoon but it was't close enough to the beach for my liking.

Top Tip: September bar round the corner had brilliant food, and chuckle brothers bar was non stop entertainment. Marmaris is amazing. Dont leave without doing the all inclusive boat trip, fantastic!
