Green Nature Resort and Spa Hotel

“ Fantastic hotel couldn't ask for anything better

“ The Green Nature Resort was a very good choice, there is so much to do in the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All the activities were enjoyable, my 2 year old daughter enjoyed the mini disco nights, and the pool side events. The Spa facility was very good. The turkish bath, massage and treatments in the hotel spa was a lot better than the main turkish bath in town, where you felt rushed. The prices were not that much difference. The food buffet was different everyday. A wide selection to choose from. There is the inside buffet or the selection of grills outside.You are spoilt for choice.

The water slides are a bonus.

The hotel is very clean, everything is on order. The pool / and surroundings are cleaned every day.

There was no fault that we experienced with this hotel, highly recommended. We would definately go back there. This was our first time in Turkey.

“ Top Tip: The hotel spa and treatments in the hotel is a must!!! The turkish bath is great in the hotel. We tried it outside too but the hotel was more one-to-one and not rushed.

“ This was my first visit to Turkey and I have to say I enjoyed myself. The hotel itself is packed full of facilities. You have an all inclusive hotel with a two nice pools, 4 slides, spa, tennis court, several bars and eating areas and much more. If you didn't want to, you wouldn't need to set foot outside of the hotel for your entire stay. The 4 star complex is okay but I would suggest you upgrade to the 5 star rooms as what is classed as 5 star in Turkey is only a good 3 star in other countries. I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here about the food as it was always hot, fresh and tasty. There was a good variety which i believe caters well for everybody although there was an over reliance on egg for the morning. A lot of the food was cooked fresh, in plain view by the chefs and some of it was even cooked to preferance. The staff were mostly very friendly but some of the bar staff became ignorant at their clocking off time. Also be wary as they like to have a laugh and have a sense of humour so please do not take offence if they have a little joke. The cleanliness was top notch and there were always fresh towels and bed sheets everyday in our room.
The location of the hotel was a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, but don't let that put you off as the beach itself is very small and made from shingle. For relaxing you are better off poolside on one of the plentiful sunbeds. Marmaris town centre is a little way off and the best way of geting there is on the blue stripe Dolmus (Bus) which you catch near the beach. 2 Lira for the ride which is much cheaper than the taxis around. You will discover plenty of different tour operators which is the best and cheapest way of booking any excursions as they are dirt cheap. I would recommend the Dalyan river cruise. Cost about £20 for an entire day inclusive with lunch where you will visit rock tombs, proper sand beach and mud baths.

Overall I would advise you to take a trip to the Green nature in Marmaris. Turkey is cheaper than most other holidays destinations and there is plenty to do and see. My only regret is I wish I booked a bit longer stay.

“ Top Tip: Use the Dolmus (Bus) near the beach to get into the centre of town and others nearby instead of a taxis as it is much cheaper. I would also recommend booking the Dalyan river cruise from any of the local agents as it is a great day out for all and costs only £20pp. You will see the rock tombs for people who like history and culture, Turtle beach for the sun lovers and the mud baths for an experience to remember.
