  • “ Just returned from 6 nights at Maris Beach. I was apprehensive about staying here at the time of booking as it was only a 3 star. However, I was thoroughly impressed. Considering it was only a 3 star this hotel was great.

This beach hotel comprises a total of 60 rooms spread over 5 floors as well as a terrace. Facilities on offer to guests include air conditioning, a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, lift access, a cafe, a games room, a TV lounge, a restaurant, cycle hire and Internet access (for an additional charge). For an additional fee, guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services.The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach. The centre of Marmaris is around 1.5 km away and guests will find restaurants, shops, bars and clubs within a radius of 2 km of the hotel. Mugla is some 50 km away, Gokova is around 29 km and Dalyan is about 90 km from the hotel. Dalaman Airport is also around 90 km away.All rooms come with a minibar, a TV with music channels, individually adjustable air conditioning, a hairdryer, a safe, a direct dial telephone, a balcony, a shower, a smoke alarm, Internet access and a double bed. Most rooms also feature a sea view.The hotel features a swimming pool, a children's pool, a private beach and a poolside snack bar. “ Top Tip: the beach was right in front of hotel. mailbu beach is recommended for music and entertainment, no entertainment at maris beach just restaurant food was excellent though. more suitable for older people

Considering it was only a 3 star this hotel was great. The rooms are basic but clean. I paid a little extra and had a balcony with sea view room (i recommend this room) like most countries you have to pay extra for the safe and air con. The hotel is right on the beach. There is a pool but it is very small.

The restaurant served excellent food with a wide variety. The Breakfast wasn't so good. This is one of the reasons i haven't rated the hotel higher. The staff are so friendly and helpful. A nice bunch of staff work here.

If you are looking to go outside the hotel for drinks there are a few bars close by. The harbour is very nice and a short taxi ride roughly 15 lira.

I would recommend this hotel. I shall be returning.
