“ The hotel was pleasant and clean and the staff were welcoming. However I did ask for a room with a bath and a view of the castle but not available, despite booking 6 weeks in advance. The only other gripe was the car parking charges £25.00 per day, not what I would expect from a 4* hotel.
“ Top Tip: If you have the time,(2-3hrs) visit the castle, truly fabulous!

“ the staff were extremely polite and helpful nothing was too much trouble the room was lovely and they had cup cakes which was a really nice touch for my birthday. also nice to have dressing gowns and slippers

“ On our previous visit to Windsor we stayed at the Castle Hotel next door, what a difference! The whole experience at the MacDonald hotel was far superior. Beautiful decor, excellent breakfast & attentive staff. The only thing I could fault is the car park is expensive at £25 per day.
