Cardiff Bay with The National Assembly building and The Millennium Centre which is home to Welsh National Opera Theatre Music and the Arts is only a short journey away. Mobility Description:
We at Beaufort House strive to make the stay of all our guests as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Beaufort House is a late Victorian house situated in the Cathedral Road conservation area. Being a Victorian house there are several steps both up and down to access guest areas. Guest accommodation is arranged over the First (USA Second) and Second (USA Third) floors. We have no guest accommodation on the ground floor. (USA First). There are no lift facilities available. The Dining Room for breakfast is on the ground floor. There is a step down from the Hall of 5 inches and then a sharp left and right turn through a fire lobby. From the pavement there is a step of 3 inches onto the path and a step of 6 inches from the path into the porch. There is a further step of 5 inches onto a marble threshold 12 inches across and then a step down into the Hall of 3 inches. From the Hall there are 16 stairs to a Double Room and a Family Room.
