“ Tiny, isolated village in the North Pennines -- wonderful empty countryside so best for walkers and cyclists.
Nice welcome and excellent food -- very good value.

“ very nice, nothing was too much trouble, lovely rooms, delicious food,and very peaceful.

“ Top Tip: we used the punch bowl , as a stopover for visiting the beamish museum, and a day in durham.
